That is where she meets Adrian Blackwood — a dangerously handsome billionaire with a charm that is impossible to resist and secrets darker than the night.

Within months, Elena becomes his wife and moves into the mysterious mansion perched on a lonely cliff above the sea.

But Blackwood Manor is not just a home.

It is a place filled with whispers, shadows, and terrifying secrets.

Every night at 3:13 AM, Elena hears footsteps in empty hallways. Doors open by themselves. And somewhere inside the mansion, a woman can be heard crying.

As Elena begins to uncover the truth, she discovers something horrifying.

She is not the first woman Adrian has married.

And none of his previous wives were ever seen again.

Trapped inside a mansion haunted by the past, Elena must uncover the truth before it’s too late.

Because the man she loves may not just be hiding secrets…

He may be the reason those women never survived.

And Elena might be the next victim of the curse of Blackwood Manor.

The Storm That Changed Everything
The night I first saw Blackwood Manor, the sky looked like it was at war with the earth. Rain crashed against the windshield of my car, blurring the narrow coastal road ahead of me. Thunder rolled across the dark Scottish sky, shaking the ground beneath my tires. I should have turned back. Everyone in the small town had warned me about this road. “Don’t drive near the cliffs at night,” the waitress at the diner had said earlier that evening, her voice uneasy. “Especially not near Blackwood Manor.” At the time, I had laughed it off. Now, as lightning split the sky and briefly illuminated the massive mansion standing on the cliff ahead, I felt a strange chill crawl down my spine. The place looked less like a home… and more like something out of a nightmare. Tall black gates. Stone walls darkened by age. Windows that looked like empty eyes staring into the storm. Blackwood Manor. Even from the road, it felt like the house was watching me. Then suddenly— My car jerked violently. The engine coughed once. Twice. And then it died. “Oh no… no, no, no,” I muttered, trying the ignition again. Nothing. The headlights flickered weakly before going out completely, leaving me surrounded by darkness and the sound of the storm. For a moment, I just sat there, gripping the steering wheel. I was alone. On an empty road. In the middle of nowhere. And the only place nearby was the creepy mansion everyone had warned me about. Lightning flashed again. That’s when I saw him. A tall figure standing near the iron gates of Blackwood Manor. Completely still. Watching me. My heart skipped. Had he been there the whole time? Another flash of lightning lit up the sky. This time, I could see his face. Sharp jawline. Dark hair soaked by the rain. Eyes so dark they almost looked black in the storm. He looked… unreal. Too perfect to be standing alone on a deserted road in the middle of the night. Slowly, he began walking toward my car. Each step calm. Controlled. Like the storm didn’t exist. Like he owned the darkness around him. A strange nervous feeling twisted in my stomach. When he finally reached my window, he knocked gently on the glass. I hesitated for a moment before lowering it slightly. Cold air rushed inside. “You shouldn’t be on this road tonight,” he said. His voice was deep and smooth… the kind of voice that made people listen without questioning. “My car broke down,” I replied, trying to sound calm. His eyes moved briefly toward the dead engine before returning to me. For a moment, he said nothing. Just stared. The silence between us felt strange… heavy somehow. Then he smiled. “You’re lucky,” he said quietly. “Why?” I asked. “Because you broke down near my house.” He turned slightly, gesturing toward the massive mansion looming on the cliff behind him. Blackwood Manor. A sudden wave of unease passed through me. “I’m Adrian Blackwood,” he added. The name immediately rang in my head. The same name the waitress had mentioned earlier. The same name people in town spoke about in hushed voices. “You can stay at the manor until the storm ends,” he continued. His offer sounded polite. Kind, even. But something inside me hesitated. Something about this place… Something about him… felt wrong. Lightning cracked across the sky again. For a brief second, the bright light illuminated his face completely. And I could have sworn his eyes looked… different. Darker. Almost… inhuman. The moment passed quickly, and his charming smile returned. “Well?” he asked gently. The rain poured harder around us. The road behind me was completely flooded now. I had no other choice. “Okay,” I said slowly. “I’ll come.” Adrian’s smile widened slightly. But as he turned and began walking toward the gates of Blackwood Manor, a strange thought suddenly crossed my mind. A feeling I couldn’t explain. A whisper in the back of my head telling me that stepping inside that mansion… would be the biggest mistake of my life.
