Walking threw the hallway at school I was running late to class as soon as I turned the corner I bumped right into the school’s most handsome guy Levi Cattaneo my books went everywhere I couldn’t speak I just stood their . As I’m standing their not even sure I’m breathing I watch as he bends down and starts to grab all the books I dropped. By the time he stood up to hand me back my stuff it was like my brain finally decided to work again I smiled hoping it passed as thankful and not freaky looking . He was so close I could smell his cologne “God did smell good”. I was nervous I wanted to curl up and hide somewhere , I went to walk away when I heard Levi say my name . I figured I had forgotten something that I had dropped . Turning back around Levi had that beautiful smile on his face “here goes that not breathing part again” walking back to see what he needed he hands me a pen I’m pretty sure is not even mine but I take it I go to turn around and Levi says hey Sam I’ve been meaning to see you I wanted to see if maybe this Friday you wanted to maybe go to the movies grab dinner . I froze Levi was asking me out . Sure guys have asked me out before but I always turn them down and focus on my school work I’m young I have plenty of time to date after high school. But Levi is my dream guy my first crush theirs no way I can say no . So I did what any cool and confident girl would do I shook my head yes . Now just standing there with his hand out I’m looking at him confused ! Sam I need your phone number so I can call you . If you don’t mind . Duh God I am so lame right now . After giving Levi my phone to put his number in he’s hands me my phone back and I realize he texts himself to so now he has my number one last smile he walks away but not before telling me he’ll text me later and throwing a wink my way. All I wanted to do was find my friends and fan girl and scream at the top of my lungs how Levi just asked me out and today is official the best day of my life. So that’s exactly what I did at lunch I went in search of my besties Emma and Layla we always meet up outside to eat under our favorite tree. As soon as the girls seen me they knew i had something tell them part of knowing each other since kindergarten. As i sat down the loud one of us Emma asked right away Okay spell sam what’s up she said , so i told everything from the beginning to end of running into Levi .Layla the more out going one of us couldn’t believe how me running late this morning turned into the hottest guy in school asking me out.I told the girls I couldn’t believe he wanted to ask me out, we maybe said five whole sentences to each other since him and his family moved here in the eighth grade. Layla then looks at me weird…don’t you think it’s weird that we never see him with any girls not one girl in school has ever went on a date with him?Not even the cheerleaders .. and they’ve tired he just shoots them down from what i see. Maybe he just dates girls from other schools i tried to think of any rumors I’ve ever heard about Levi. I then looked to Emma .. what do you think Emm? Emma then say maybe he’s never been in a relationship or he’s parents don’t allow him to date to keep him on track. do you think i should not go fake being sick? Layla and Emma look at each other then at me shaking their heads absolutely not , Emma gets really excited and says how I should come to her house after school Friday to get ready to help with the nerves i now have. Fine i hope this is a good idea you both know i swore not to date until after high school Emma and Layla shaking their heads smiling yes we know they say together. With that the bell ring letting us know lunch is now over . As we our getting up to go back to school my phone go off with a text. Levi; hey Sam just wanted to say im excited about Friday , I’ll call you later to talk if thats cool. The girls turn around noticing im not behind then. What wrong Sam ..Layla ask nodding my head i say it was Levi asking if he could call me later and he’s excited about Friday. I swear i feel my face turning beet red … before the girls can tease me i speed walk back into the school telling the girls I’ll see them at the end of the day I remember to text Levi back .
