Amni made a noise that sounded distinctly like ‘Ah-Ha’, making Tama frown. The young Hogo heard the sound of something being screwed off like a bottle cap before it was tossed onto the floor. Amni shifted again and Tama heard a new sound… liquid hitting the rock at their feet.
“What are you doing?” Tama asked when he suddenly smelled alcohol.
He blinked rapidly when Amni flipped open a Zippo and lit it. His eyes narrowed when Amni spit into the open flame. The tunnel suddenly illuminated with the fireball and ignited the liquid on the floor.
Tama backed up against the elevator door in terror when he saw all the vampires crawling along the floor, walls and ceiling toward them. Feeling his stomach bottom out, he fought the urge to scream like a little girl.
