Emotions

Theo Lexi was standing at the sink getting ready to do the washing up, I ordered her to leave it for Bo to do. She spent about five minutes stood still with her back to us then she turned around to look at me for a few moments before walking out of the kitchen. “Where are you going?” I shouted at her disappearing figure. I went to stand up to go follow her but I felt a soft hand grabbing my arm, I looked over at my sister and she had concern in her eyes. “Leave her be, Theo.” She started to speak before I snarled at her. “Why should I f*****g leave her be when she spent all that time f*****g taunting me?” I snapped at her and she sighed while rubbing her temples. “Theo, will you listen to me speak before lashing out please?” She asked me exhaustedly. I huff at her, crossing my arms and I waved my hand at her to continue. “Do you have any idea what you both just did right in front of us?” She pointedly asked me. “She didn’t just tease you, you teased her back. While you two were flirting, you was focused on her arousal energy whereas I was focusing on her other energies. While her arousal was the strongest emotion, she was also feeling other mixed emotions too. Since you’ve brought her here she hasn’t really had much time to herself. Yeah, I spent some time with her in the pool as she got a little break from you but even then she still haven’t had time to herself. She feels overwhelmed and needs to get away, she’ll go mentally crazy if you throw everything at her at once. In all the time of me watching the both of you together, you haven’t been apart much. You’re either teasing each other or you’re dying to put your hands on her; I’ve never even seen you affect a girl like this before. It’s quite clear that you do something to her that she’s never experienced before. I know you’re impatient but you need to give her some space, she needs to clear her mind. She’s still a young woman, let her find herself, let her come to you and make her want you without you crowding her.” She finishes her speech and I looked at her as I listen to what she says to me. My sister is right, I need to give Lexi some space. I cover my face with my hands as I leaned on the table. Lexi had been taunting me which is driving me wild, everything about her just captivates me. Her scent makes me dizzy and she smells so delicious, she smells of peaches with a hint of cherry. Her innocence warms my heart: her feminine-soft-deviant voice and her compassion shows that she’s quite innocent yet her twinkling-naughty eyes tells me otherwise. She has the most brightest-cheeky smile I have ever seen and her cheeky-little-giggle drives me to insanity. Whenever I have her in my arms I feel whole, but when I don’t have her under my touch I’m going crazy. No one could ever make me feel the way Lexi does, not even close. The more I get to know her the more I enjoy being with her, the more she gets to know me the more comfortable she is at showing her true self and she becomes more bouncy. She’s also really funny and sassy which really excites me. There is a lot more to learn about Lexi and I’m excited to do so, I don’t want to know everything about her in one go as it makes our calling less interesting. Although, I highly doubt spending time with her could ever be boring regardless. I removed my face from my hands, I was that rapped up in my thoughts with Lexi I didn’t hear Aaron and Owen come in. They were stood chewing on the breakfast Lexi had made for them. I looked around the room and saw faces looking at me with either concern or curiosity. I turn to my sister, “You’re right, Vic, I do need to give her some space. But it’s so hard because I can’t stand not being around her. I mean, I’m going crazy now not having her on my lap.” I blurted out with a sigh. I looked down at the plate in front of me and grabbed a fork before eating my untouched breakfast, it was cold. “So, where’s your lady?” Aaron snarked as Owen snickered at him. I snapped at him, “As you can see, she’s not here!” “Jeez, someone’s snappy today. Haven’t gotten laid yet?” He muttered as I continued to eat my cold breakfast. I violently threw the fork onto the table, creating a loud bang, before standing up and knocking the table over as I stomped out of the kitchen. Through my wolf hearing I heard Aaron whine about my mood, Vic and Cane explained my ‘flirting session’ with Lexi before she left the kitchen. I stormed my way down to the little gym that we have, when I got there I blasted the music as I changed into my work out clothes. I didn’t want to sweat in the outfit I was wearing since Lexi had liked what she saw; she acted like she didn’t appeal to it but I knew she did. As Lexi entered my brain again I was feeling riled up once more, the words Aaron had used were stuck in my mind. Someone’s snappy today. Haven’t gotten laid yet. I started punching the punchbag violently until it flew off its hook, it fell to the ground and Aaron had walked in. I frowned at him as I saw his face. He held his hands up in defence, “Dude, don’t smash my face. I was only joking about not getting laid.” He then turned off the music and crossed his arms. I picked the punchbag up and hooked it back into place, I started punching the bag again and for a few minutes no one said a word. While continuing to punch the punchbag I started to talk,“You’re my best friend, Aaron, I know when you’re joking. But this is about Lexi, with her it’s not the case of getting laid. She’s not any girl, she’s different to all the other girls I’ve been with. If it was about anyone else, I’d have laughed at the joke.” I stopped what I was doing to take a swig of my water bottle before continuing. “I don’t just want to get laid by Lexi, I want to give everything to her. I’ve never felt this way about anyone in my entire existence. It’s driving me crazy but I can wait to have s*x with her. I’ve known her for two days and I already feel like I can’t live without her.” I stopped punching the bag and folded my arms. “I just wanted to say that I’m sorry for joking, I didn’t mean p*ss you off.” He apologises with guilt on his face. “I’m glad you found someone that you can’t live without. You deserve someone like Lexi.” He blurts out. I sigh as I swing the punchbag with my fingers before grabbing it to rest my forehead on it. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply. Aaron walked closer to me and patted my back to comfort me. My hands starts to twitch as I start to feel agitated, all I can think about is Lexi. For male wolves, we want s*x more than most females, we have higher testosterone so it’s normal for us to be h*rny all the time. Plus this feeling is new so I can’t help but feel hooked. “You’re thinking about her, aren’t you?” He asked me, smiling. I laugh at him, “Yeah, I try to block her out sometimes but she just creeps back in.” “Why don’t we go play pool, distract you from her?” He asked me as he playfully punched my arm. “Yeah okay, let me change back into my casual clothes.” I changed back into my previous outfit then we walked to the bar. When we got there Owen, Cane and Victoria joined us but they all looked sheepish. “Alright, I’ll bite, why are you all looking like I might murder you all? I said sarcastically. The three of them shifted about, looking at one another while biting their mouths. I growled for an answer as I began to grow impatient. Since no one is with Lexi and I don’t even know where she is, I started to lose my patience. “Someone speak before lose my temper again!” I snarled, people jumped at my raised voice. Victoria was the first one to speak and she sounded rather scared, “ Well, first things first, Mum called to say she’s on her way over with Dad as they heard you found your mate so they want to pay a visit. I then went to go find Lexi to see if she was okay and I couldn’t find her. I came back to the kitchen as Cane and Owen were still there gabbing together, I told them to help me search the Manor. She wasn’t even in the garden.” She breathed shakily as she finished talking, knowing full well I’m about to get mad. Everyone anticipated it coming as they were looking at the ground, baring their necks. Rage started to flow out of my aura and I was close to screaming the place down. “If…no one… finds… Lexi… within… the next… hour… I…am… going… to… fully… go…mad.” I slowly said, trying to remain calm but it’s evident I’m close to losing it. I tried to suppress my anger but I couldn’t hold it, the more I thought about Lexi being out unmarked and possibly in danger, the more angry I felt. My wolf was more angry too, he was pushing his way out of my human body. I rushed out of the bar and ran out of the Manor through the back so I could run out into the woods. I threw my clothes off me to the ground next to a tree so I know where to find them, once I was naked I let my beast escape my body. As I got to the middle of the woods, I roared with anger. I grabbed small trees with my bare hands and launched it across the woods. After about ten minutes of being on my rampage I started to cool down, I slumped down to the ground with my back leaning up against a tree. My wolf went back into my body and I shifted to my human self before covering my face with my hands as I rested them on my knees. My heart was racing and I was out of breath, I took deep breaths as I clutched my ragged hair. I was furious at the fact Lexi left the Manor without speaking to me first, I wouldn’t have minded if she had asked me. I’d have said yes; being crazy for her I can’t deny her, I’d do anything to make her happy even if it meant letting her run free for a bit. As long as I know where she is and that she is safe I don’t care what she’s doing. I don’t know where she is, for all I know she’s gotten into trouble and is scared for her life. With her being unmarked and her spending time with me, it’s making her feel a way that is going to attract males. Wolves are like cats, when female cats are on heat they attract males as it’s “mating season”. So Lexi is going to attract men since she’s been feeling very aroused in the last couple of days, not only that but she so f*****g gorgeous! I inhale another deep breath as I sat up and rested my head against the tree, I closed my eyes and faced the sky as I prayed that nothing happens to Lexi. Chances are that she’s with Wesley, he always sits by the entrance waiting for me to tell him what to do or where to go. She left the Manor which means she went the front way as I would have seen her in the woods if she went the back way, which means Wesley would have seen her and he wouldn’t have let her disappear without following her. He knows I would be very angry if he let her go somewhere on her own. It doesn’t help when my parents decide to f*****g come to visit, I’m still getting used to Lexi myself. It’s not just new for her, it’s new for me too. With a sigh, I stand back up and run to the tree where I left my clothes. When I got there I dressed myself before walking back to the Manor. I walked back to the bar, Aaron and Owen were there but Vic and Cane were not. I grabbed a beer and drank it before I began to speak. I looked at Aaron and Owen, “Are Vic and Cane looking for Lexi?” “Cane rang Wesley, turns out he took her somewhere. He gave them directions and they went to go find them.” Owen told me as he sat down next to me while I was stood nodding at him blankly. “Where did you run off to?” Aaron asked me. “Into the woods. I let Ripper out and wreck the trees for about ten minutes. I then slouched into a tree, trying to calm myself down. It’s not good me keeping stuff pent up, you know.” I explained as I got another beer, I took a aggressive swig. “I can’t believe my parents are on their way, I haven’t settled in with Lexi yet. I’m still getting to know her myself. I’m not ready to introduce her to them yet. I don’t think she’s even close to meeting them. They’ll scare her. Plus I don’t know if they’ll even like her” I slam my drink onto the table along with the palm of my hands. “Poor guy, you’ve got it tough at the minute.” Owen muttered as he rubbed my back. “I’m still feeling anger from what Derek did to my family. Madzie’s still feeling upset from the trauma and everyone is still talking about it. It was only almost a week ago, I still can’t believe what I did to him. I don’t want Lexi to ever see that side to me, it will scare her.” I babble on as I stare into the tabletop in front of me with my hands still flat on the service. “She won’t think that you’re a monster. It was Derek that was the monster, he was the one that hitted on your mother, he was the one that violated your cousin. She’ll see that all you intend on doing is protecting people.” He assured me with a calm voice. I sigh at him, “I know, you’re right but I still don’t want her to see that side of me.” For a while the three of us just sat the bar, the music was playing quietly but the boys chattered to themselves, occasionally asking me if I was okay. They respected that I wanted to be left alone, but with how I was feeling they wanted to support me so they stayed by my side. I was nervous about my parents coming so I had a bit to drink, I wasn’t wasted but I had drunk enough to get me tipsy. Then out of nowhere, Cane had appeared alone and he looked sheepish, I knew that my parents had arrived. I looked at him, “They’re here aren’t they?” I asked exhaustedly. He nodded at me, “They arrived at the airport, they demanded a lift so I left Vic and that lot to go pick them up. I told them to wait in the living room, they bombarded me with questions but I told them it’s not my place to say.” “Alright thanks, you guys stay here and play pool while I go speak to my parents” I ordered, before I turned to go upstairs I turned to cane “Where did Wesley take Lexi.” He shrugs “He took her to Wolf Bay” I nod then went upstairs. My parents were sat on the sofa with their arms folded, looking amused. Well at least they’re in a good mood. “You could have called.” I snapped as I got to their bodies. “We wanted to surprise you but judging by the look on your face you’re not pleased we came.” My father answered as his narrows his eyes at me. “I’ve only just met Lexi Friday night, which was about two nights ago, of course I’m not happy you came. I know that’s why you’re here, to meet her.” I said as my eyes darkened at them. “Son, we didn’t even have to be told that you had been bonding with a she-wolf, we could feel it miles away.” He blurted out. “And how could you possibly feel a bond that I’m growing with a she-wolf?” I asked him bitterly. My mum stands up and walks to my side, she gently caresses my arm, “It’s just how parents feel towards their children, it’s just like with our mates; whatever our mates feel we feel, we’ll it’s like that for us and our children, something in you is changing and we could feel it. We wanted to come over and pay a visit because we felt you might need our support.” I looked at my mother once she finished talking and she looked genuine, I let out a sigh and kissed her on the cheek. “Thank you I guess, but I don’t need your help. I can do this on my own.” I answered, softening my tone so it didn’t sound like I was being ungrateful towards my parents. I then turned to my father, “This girl is special to me, I’m not ready for you to meet her yet because she’s not fully there yet. She’s a delicate flower, as much as she likes to show that she’s not, she is to me and I just know that once she sees you she’ll get scared and run away. She already decided to leave me for a bit, she’s already feeling overwhelmed and I don’t want to make it worse for her. She’ll be worried that you won’t like her or that she’s not good enough for you to be my mate.” I let it all out, I firmly told my parents that I basically didn’t want them to meet Lexi just yet. They both looked at me then looked at each other before laughing. I growled at them, “What’s so funny?” They continued to laugh at my frown, “What do you take us for? We are are your parents, you should know that we don’t interfere with yours and your sisters choice making. If this is something that makes you happy then we have no objection towards your calling.” My mother explained as she sits back down next to my father. My father joins in, “Your mother is right, regardless of how we feel about your mate; we cannot deny your calling by the moon. It is just the law.” My father pauses to let my mother speak, “We can see in your eyes that you’re really drawn to this girl, we don’t have to meet the girl to know that she is special; we can feel it through our bond to you. So stop being so damn protective and let us meet her.” I moaned at her, “Ma, I’ve only known her for two days. It’s too soon.” She laughs at me, “Oh, nonsense, silly. It’s only too soon when it’s not meant to be.” I rolled my eyes at her as she winked at me while my father giggles. “So where is she anyway and why did she leave?” My father asked when things went silent. I sigh, “We had an intense moment over breakfast which led her to walk out. I just assumed she went to my room or found something to do. Aaron made a joke about me not getting laid yet so I stormed to the gym and he followed not long after I started punching on the punching bag. We had a talk and then went to the bar, Vic, Cane and Owen all came at once; they looked like I would murder them as it was clear it was something to do with Lexi. They said that she was nowhere to be found so I growled at them to find her within the next hour and then went on a mad rampage. When I came back to the Manor, I went back to the bar and I had a chat with the boys; Vic and Cane had gone but when Cane came back as he brought you both here from the airport, he said that Wesley had taken her to Wolf Bay.” I stopped to take a breather as I was talking fast. Talking about Lexi to my parents made me feel anxious, I was anxious because I was explaining that she had left the Manor due to feeling overwhelmed. It made it easier for me knowing that she was safe with Wesley, and as annoying as it is that he took it upon himself to take her to Wolf Bay, I know that he did it from the goodness of his heart. He just wanted to help her, and for that I can live with what has happened. But the longer I spend time apart from Lexi without having her marked, the more irritated I get and the more I miss her. If two mates spend enough time apart without starting the mating process, it can weaken the bond and could push us in other wolves direction. I wasn’t going to be having that. Without thinking twice about it, I turned around and left to go to my motorcycle while saying, “I’m going to go find her.” as I walked out. When I was outside next to my motorcycle it started to pour it down, we were living in a part of California where it rains all the time. The air smelt of fresh rain and it smelt great, I enjoy the rain as it’s relaxing; it’s also good for people who heat up a lot. After spending a few moments of appreciating the rain, I hopped onto my bike and I got it started. I set off and drove to Wolf Bay, there wasn’t much traffic so it didn’t take me long to get there. I’m finally at Wolf Bay and I turned the bike’s ignition off. I started to walked down the beach with my bike; since it was now heavily pouring it down a lot of people had either run to their cars to drive somewhere else or ran under a shelter or inside a beach house. I continued to walk down the beach and as I got further to the cafes and restaurants etc, I saw Wesley’s car parked in the car park. No one was in it, so I leaned my bike against his car and walked towards the cafes. I reached one cafe, ‘Sandy Blooms’, it’s my favourite cafe in town; they do the most exquisite food in the entire universe. My Ma used to take me when I was a child, that’s another reason why it’s my favourite place to eat. As I stood outside Sandy Blooms, I saw a particular sexy-blonde-short-a*se that catches my attention. I stood watching her like a creep, I couldn’t help it; she’s just beautiful and amazing in every way. She was sat by the window with my sister and Wesley, the three of them were talking and laughing. Her face goes red before turning to look at me, she must have felt my presence, she was holding a glass cup that had something in it and when she caught me staring at her she knocked it over while blushing harder. Victoria and Wesley then looked at me to see what made her knock her drink over, Wesley looked like he had be caught doing something naughty while Victoria rolled her eyes at the fact I was just stood outside staring at them; I know my people and I can tell what their expressions are saying. I laughed at how cute Lexi is when she’s shy and embarrassed, people started looking at me as I continued to stand outside staring at my people so I walked inside the cafe and sat down next to Lexi while putting my arm over her shoulder. I could hear her heart beat speed up and heat started to radiate off her body, she started shifting in her seat and she turned to smile at me but I could feel that she felt uneasy. I grabbed her hand and held it as I brought it under the table, I didn’t want to make her feel more embarrassed but I also wanted to make her feel at ease. She gave it a little squeeze so I circled her hand with my thumb. Her breathing started to get heavier and she rested half of her face into her palm as she lent her arm on the table; I thought back to what Victoria had said earlier about how she focused on Lexi’s other emotions, so since we were in public I couldn’t flirt with Lexi to that extent, not that I would have done since things are a bit hot at the moment. I focused on her other emotions and Lexi was feeling confused, she felt scared and happy at the same time. I felt anxious the moment I left the Manor but sitting next to Lexi my whole emotion changed. The second I held her hand I felt at ease, I felt happy.
