CHAPTER 5: The First Crystal

When we finally made it back to HQ and filled up The Fox Jet, we all had the vision of the two crystals again. “Do you hear that?” asked Dog Boy. A ringing sound was coming from the Bleakwater Caverns up the mountain. We flew up and went inside. We followed the sound and it led us to a gem. “That looks like the crystal from the vision!” exclaimed Fox Girl. We grabbed it and put it in a bag, but the bag blew up. So we put it in the carriage slot in my blaster. Naturally, The Evil Man showed up and tried to take it, but then I shot him and his pod went flying through the air and landed on his business’s building. “Wow, this crystal is even more powerful than we thought.” I realized. We went home after an hour of studying the crystal and went to bed for three minutes until we were woken up by our alarm clocks. In those three minutes we reverted back to our regular human form.

“Another day, another test…” I sighed. Today was the day of the boring weekly test. The SIWOT. It stands for Super Important Weekly Object Test. But I like to pretend it stands for ‘Super Irritating Waste Of Time”. Anyways, I got to school and everybody was talking about the previous night. “Who was that?” “Why do they look like that?” “Are they superheroes?” They keep asking question after question. I gulped and said “Who knows?” with an uneasy smile. Unusually, I get an A+. It was weird. I normally suck at the Super Irritating Waste Of Time. We saw that the pictures we turned in were very impressive. Now instead of D- 's, We’re sitting at B+’s! I got home, and started working on a school project. We’re supposed to write a book, and mine is called “Tests are boring”.

That night we met up and went back to studying the crystal. “The gamma radiation this thing is emitting is off the charts.” said Fox Girl. “Do you mean this thing should be able to kill us?” asked Dark Fox. “Because of our powers the energy seems to be ineffective against us.” replied Fox Girl. “Well it sure is powerful enough to knock a man 13 miles away.” I said. We got in The Fox Jet and flew off to check for anything. By installing the crystal into the jet, we can use it to track the other one. Our search led us to underground Washington DC. But the signal began to move. It went straight to, you guessed it…Cobblestone Industries.

CHAPTER 6: The Cobblestone Pursuit

“He has the crystal!” I shouted. We flew straight to him, but it turns out that's what he wanted us to do. When we arrived missiles came from the sides of the building, we got hit and fell into an underground area. We got knocked out, and eventually woke up in chains and locked in cells. “Hello, super-zeroes. You see, I knew you would come for my crystal, so I made a plan. I thought you would take the sky. Of course to get past my plasma field you would need the crystal. So I took you down and stole the crystal.” he monologued. “Well you can't control the crystals!” Fox Girl said. “Oh, of course how could I possibly do so? I don’t know, maybe, take your tech?” he responded. He revealed his massive 80 foot tall robotic mech. “Your world is doomed!!!” He bragged on and on about how was gonna rule the world. “Your birth certificate
