Tiffany Peaceful. Thats how I felt while lying in bed thinking about Matt being my mate and living happily for the rest of our lives, I had dreamed of this from the first few months of us being together, we got together at age 13 and have been inseparable ever since, we are now 17. I am a month older than Matt so I will find out my mate before him. I lay there thinking about how sweet he is, how lovely he dressed, always so polite to Everyone which made me like him even more. As I was stuck in thought I suddenly hear “Tiffany Faye” my mother shouts followed by her loud foot steps up the stairs as I clearly hadn’t realised the first time she yelled. Bursting through my door i jolt up suddenly. “Why didn’t you answer the first time I called your name young lady” “I’m sorry mother I must have been stuck in thought” as I say this she doesn’t look impressed. “Always stuck in that head of yours” she says with a frown. This is because I never open up to her, no one really not even Matt but he respects that and doesn’t push me for anything which I’m glad about. “You called?” I say dismissing her comment completely. “Ahh yes, I need you to help out inside the pack house today I have other important duties to take care of, I have already informed alpha Jamie that you will be taking my place today” she says smiling, clearly happy she didn’t give me a choice. I look at her with a fake smile and she nods and walks out of my room. “Get ready” she links me as she clearly hears that I lay back down on my bed. I roll my eyes. I make my way down stairs after getting ready and run out the door not bothering about breakfast. “Hi beautiful what you up to” Matt links with me as I am nearly at the pack house, I smile. “Hey Matt, I am just about to fill in at the pack house for my mother” “Again?” He says with a hint of annoyance, not towards me but my mother purely because this is the 3rd time this week I have had to fill in for her while she goes to do her other “duties” more like going to get her nails done as well as her weekly massage. I love my mother but sometimes it is annoying when I have to do her chores. Yes we all have our duties around the pack, but I have to do my own and my mothers which is exhausting sometimes. “Yes” I link back, “I should be done later tonight” i say enthusiastically, hoping we could spend time together. “Well I will see you then beautiful” the link closes between us. As I am walking I feel strange, something I always seem to feel when walking near the pack house. “Maybe it’s that boyfriend of yours” Clementine my wolf makes her appearance. I frown at her comment and decide to talk back “you have felt that way towards him for a couple of days now, what is your problem. He has been my boyfriend for 4 years now you are going to have to accept him as he will be out mate soon , the moon goddess will see that.” I don’t get an answer, only a low growl. I make it to the front doors of the pack house greeted by Lucas, he was one of Alpha Jamie’s guards. I smile at him but I get nothing in return only a nod as he steps aside letting me inside. I smile at him again to say thanks but of course. Nothing. I make my way around the pack house to do my chores as usual, I was happy to be leaving early today until my mother decided not to come in, so I will have to deal with the 11pm finish. I really just wanted to get out of hear let my wolf out and sit by a tree and read my favourite book, Wuthering Heights. I was definitely a book lover than anything else. I make my way around the pack house doing my chores, room by room I take them all on, I am exhausted by this point and decide to take a seat on a king size bed, the bedroom was huge and only dreamed of having a room this big one day. Only 2 more days until my birthday, I keep telling my self. With one big sigh I get up and make my way to the kitchen. “I’m famished” Clementine opens a link with me. “Me to, I haven’t stopped and remembered I didn’t eat breakfast, I’m so glad the maids are allowed to eat in the kitchen” I replied to her “Hurry up then, i have this eager feeling to get into the kitchen” she said enthusiastically “Ok ok I’m going chill” I said laughing. I make my way into the kitchen with a smile on my face as I greet all of the other maids who are preparing meals for Alpha Jamie and Luna Sarah and probably Theodore if he is actually here. I started to make my self a sandwich when Theodore walks in. I don’t look at him as I already can sense him, he has an aura of authority around him which makes himself aware to all of us maids, I was going to eat but not now, I guess I will wait to eat. I made the decision of looking up.. only to be met by these big beautiful blue eyes. Staring right into my soul and a shiver ran down my body, and I avoided my gaze and looked away biting my lip. I handed him to sandwich and quickly left the room. ***** ***** OKAY THIS IS MY VERY FIRST CHAPTER AND VERY FIRST BOOK It probably doesn’t sound good and I am currently writing chapter 2, I would appreciate it if I got feedback any good or bad as I would definitely like to improve my writing skills Hope you enjoy, I don’t know how long updates will be as I have a very busy schedule and sometimes generally forget I have a book to write But thankyou for reading my first chapter
