Chapter 5

Calebs POV:

I did some research online and found the perfect spot to show the girls our wolves. I went back to the hotel room Kristie was in and found her asleep in the bed. Becca and Jasper were in the bathroom, I could smell her arousal so I knew they were having s*x again. I heard Becca scream and Kristie woke up in a panic.

“It’s okay babe, it’s just Becca and Jasper. I’m pretty sure he just marked her.” She laid her head back down and started to cry.

“I don’t want to be like this. I don’t want to feel broken. You don’t deserve someone like me. I’m not worth all of this.” Hearing her say this, it broke my heart.

Nash, help me out here please.

Give me control.

Just be easy with her.

I would never hurt our mate.

Kristie’s POV:

I wiped my eyes and looked up and saw that Calebs eyes were changing. Nash was taking over. Oh no, what if he was mad?

“Hello, little mate. Why do you think your worthless?”

“I’m broken, and you are an alpha. You take care of so many people and I’m not good enough for that. I couldn’t live up to your expectations. I’m ruined. What if I can’t do what woman is supposed to? What if..” Nash cut her off and slammed my lips into hers. This is not how I wanted our first kiss to be. I tried to pull him back, but he wouldn’t listen. And to my amazement, she kissed us back.He released the kiss and took her chin in his hand.

“You are not worthless. You are everything we have dreamt of and more. You are special.”

“How am I special? I don’t feel special.”

“You will find out in time, just trust us, my little mate.” His eyes turned back to normal and he grabbed my hand.

“I’m sorry about Nash. I didn’t want our first kiss to be like that.”

Calebs POV:

I was embarrassed by him, I didn’t want to scare her away. She surprised me by grabbing my face and pulling me back to her. Her lips met mine slowly but it was full of passion. I deepened the kiss by licking her bottom lip and she opened her mouth in return. Our tongues started fighting for dominance and soon we were both panting. She pulled back to get some much needed air and then I pulled her back. I wanted every kiss I could get. I was falling in love with her.

“Ehh-hmmm.” Becca coughed as if to break an awkward silence. We both looked up and looked like deer caught in headlights.

“Who are you and where’s Kristie?” Becca said laughing. Kristie blushed and quickly covered her face with the hospital blanket. Becca walked over to the bed, Jasper almost stumbled out of the bathroom. I could see her fresh mark and could sense they had formed the new mindlink together. Dr. Lucy came back in the room with a smile on her face.

“Well, Ms. Kristie, you are free to go. Caleb, it’s been a pleasure. We will see you back at the pack house soon.” She shook my hand and gave Kristie a small hug. She turned to Becca and Jasper and shook their hands and left.

“Yes b***h! Let’s get you out of here!” Becca yelled excitedly.

“Let’s take it easy babe, she’s been in a bed for over a week.” Jasper responded to her squeals of excitements.

“Look, how about you two boys shoo and let us girls discuss some things.” Becca waited for us to say something but she quickly spoke again.

“Now! Bye!”

“If she wasn’t Kristie’s bestfriend and your mate, she would of been thrown out. Ha.” I said while laughing.

“She’s something else man. She’s just, I can’t describe it.” Jasper responded.

“I get it, trust me. We both found our mates basically at the same time. I know what you mean.” I sat down on the chair outside the door and Jasper went to grab some coffee. I could hear giggles and cussing so I knew it would be a few minutes. I decided to go wait in the car and Jasper soon joined me outside.

Becca’s POV:

I watched the guys leave the room and as soon as the door shut, I turned to Kristie.

“Girl! Spill! What happened in here while we were gone?”

“Hun, you weren’t gone. You were f*****g in the bathroom.” Kristie was laughing so hard, she started crying.

“Look, I don’t know what came over me. One moment, I was sitting there thinking about Jasper, he was in the bathroom. Next thing I knew, he had me by my hand and pushed me into the bathroom. I didn’t even try to stop him.”

“Did he mark you? Caleb said he thought he heard..”

“Yes, and before you say anything else, I asked him to. We had s*x before, but this was something else. I was practically begging him to. We started slow, then he literally threw my hip out of place. It popped back in while we were still going and he marked me when it did so I wouldn’t concentrate on the pain. But the orgasm I had, I can’t put into words.”

“Well, damn girl. Get it!” Kristie giggled.

“Look, pretty soon that’s going to be you, I’ve noticed he’s already gotten you pretty comfy.”

“I don’t know what came over me. It’s like I don’t remember anything that’s happened when I’m with Caleb. His wolf came out, and it was like there another side of me that came out. I told him how I felt and he said I was special. For some reason, I believe him. And I trust him.” Kristie paused and looked down at herself. She pulled the blanket back and looked at her legs.

“I refuse to let John rule over my life anymore. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but he won’t hurt me again. I will be ready.” She didn’t remember Caleb killed him.

“You may find this to be a shock, but John is dead. Caleb killed him over what happened.” She became wide eyed and started to cry. She became almost hysterical.

“Caleb! I need you in here!” He didn’t hear me. Then I remembered Jasper and I had formed a mindlink when he marked me.

“Jasper? Can you hear me?”

“Woah, hey babe. I didn’t think you would be able to do this that fast.”

“Yeah, Kristie needs Caleb. She’s freaking out.”

“Caleb has been pacing beside the car and now I know why. We are coming.”

He cut off the mindlink and I turned to Kristie. She was having a full blown panic attack. Caleb threw open the door and ran to her. Jasper came in and took my hand.

“Let’s give them some space babe.” I nodded my head and we left the room and headed to the car.

Calebs POV:

I took her hand in mine and pulled her body to mine. Kristie was hyperventilating and I couldn’t understand why. Wasn’t she happy John was dead?

“Shhhh, just try to take deep breaths and breathe through your nose.” She listened to my words and within a few seconds, she had calmed down a little but was still crying. Kristie finally looked at me with tear filled eyes.

“Is he really dead? Like this is actually over?”

“Yes, Nash took over and I couldn’t stop him. He hurt our mate, and I wasn’t going to lose you. I didn’t really care to be honest.” She looked back down and wrapped her arms around me. She cried for a few more minutes and finally started to calm down. I think she was more in shock then anything. She pulled away from me and wiped her eyes.

“So what happens now?” She asked.I needed to take her mind away from everything. It was all too much for her and I didn’t want her to break anymore.

“Now, we are going to a special spot, I’m going to make you forget everything that’s happened. And you get to meet Nash, officially.” She almost jumped off the hospital bed and ran to the bathroom. I heard her let out a small whimper, knowing she overdid it by getting too excited. After 5 minutes, she exited the bathroom, hobbling slowly towards me and holding her side. I scooped her up and she rested her head on my shoulder and immediately fell asleep. I made our way to the car where Jasper and Becca were waiting. Jasper drove with Becca in the passenger seat. I kept Kristie in my lap and watched her try to sleep. After a forty minute drive, we finally arrived at our destination. Kristie woke up and We all exited the car with Kristie still in my arms. I was so nervous, they were about to meet Nash and Eddie.
