Healing Sarah and Tyrene Part 3

1296 Words
Tears rolling down my face, Sandi says, “I know you’re in a lot of pain. And while it might not work, I can try to give you a sedative or pain medication. Whichever you prefer, trying first.” “Give her a bit of volume. Mix it with morphine. It won’t last long but it will be enough for Aaron to find her mate and for her to stop shifting.” Alpha Liam tells Sandi. “Yes, Alpha,” Sandi says, bows, and leaves to get the mixture. Sandi is back in a matter of seconds, “This might sting a bit but due to the pain you’re already in you might not feel it.” As a werewolf, we have naturally higher body temperatures than humans. So, as much as they are trying to help, my body will burn off the mixture in a matter of minutes. Sandi injects the medicine into my arm anyway hoping to ease the pain from my supposed mate sleeping with another female. The morphine and volume mix kicks in instantly, my body relaxes and my bones settle back into my human form. Kendra even feels better. “Better?” Tyrene asks. “For now, yes. Thank you, Sandi and Alpha Liam.” I say with a sigh. “You’re…” Alpha Liam began before being interrupted. “Well, here he is, the only pack member that was f*****g some tramp in his wolf form. And Alpha, you aren't going to like this.” Gamma Aaron says as he tosses the Alpha’s son, Stephen, onto the floor of my hospital room. ***GASP*** I’m sitting here looking at Stephen for the first time after turning 19, feeling heartbroken and Kendra began snarling and growling in my head which came out of my mouth due to how angry she is for our mate to cheat on us. Kendra takes over just enough for me to stay in my human form but have her eyes, strength, and tone of voice. “HOW DARE YOU?!?!” Kendra shouts. “Kendra??” Tyrene asks wide-eyed. “I’LL KILL YOU!!” Kendra shouts again and tries to lunge at Stephen. “Brea!” Aaron yells grabbing me and pinning me to the hospital bed. “I’m Kendra. Brea is willing to let me have control. How dare he sleep with another she-wolf instead of looking for his mate?” Kendra says. “Get your hands off my mate!” Stephen yells ready to attack Aaron. “No, Stephen. We need to talk. She might not even want to be your mate after what you just put her through.” Alpha Liam says, slamming his hand into Stephens chest. “After what I put her through? What do you mean? I did nothing wrong to her? She just turned 19, how could I have done anything that would have made her want to reject me?” Stephen asks his father. “Well, I didn’t require our pack teachers to teach you guys about this because it’s so rare. But did you touch Brea yesterday? Like, within at least ten hours of her turning 19?” Alpha Liam asks Stephen. “Yes, when she came to get Randell for Sarah’s accident, I touched her wrist. Why, what does that have to do with anything?” Stephen asked. “You see, sometimes the Moon Goddess works in mysterious ways and tries to show mates ahead of time who they are mated to. Especially Alpha mates.” Alpha Liam started to say. “What are you talking about? If Brea and I are mates, I’m the Alpha so how would we be Alpha mates, that usually takes two Alpha bloodlines.” Stephen said, looking at me. “I’m an Alpha-Luna,” I say, sighing. Everyone’s eyes went wide, except for Tyrene who already knew. “My father was Alpha Derrick of the Blood Moon Pack. My mother was Alpha-Luna Isabell of the Blood Moon Pack. I was two years old when rogues attacked and slaughtered everyone, except me. My mother told me to hide in the woods because the rogues had broken into the pack house where we should have been protected. I was small enough to sneak out through the c***k in the cellar wall and hid in the woods as I was told. Unfortunately, I wasn’t told not to watch as my pack was murdered, I struggle with that memory every day. I didn’t hide who I was, one of your warriors, who found me hiding in a nearby tree after you were too late to save my family, said they couldn’t tell what part of the pack I was from. Too many scents around, I guess. I only hid my true lineage when I found out what happens to pack-less Alphas or Lunas.” I say rubbing my forehead. “You honestly think for one second that we would’ve done that to you, Brea?” Gamma Aaron asked. “Well, I’ve heard that this pack has killed off unwanted Alpha and Luna children before, for the sake of the Alpha’s son not having competition. So, not wanting to die, I learned how to mask my scent. Only Tyrene knew and she was able to hide it from you guys because I created a safe link between her and me that no one else can tap into.” I speak. “Wait! You what?” Alpha Liam looked at me very oddly. “You were able to make a separate connection between you and Tyrene without breaking hers or your connection to our pack?” “Yeah, I guess so. Can’t all Alphas do that?” I always wondered how that was possible. “Okay moving on from that. Y’all get distracted pretty easily. What is it that I could have possibly done to hurt Brea? Especially since I didn’t know she was my mate.” Stephen says, his face getting red with a balled fist and his knuckles were turning white. “Well, let’s see shall we. What were you doing when I found you, hmm?” Gamma Aaron asked. “I was in my wolf form having... Ohh...” Stephen began. “Would you like to finish that sentence?” Gamma Aaron asked through gritted teeth. Shaking his head sadly, Stephen left the room. “What? No apology? Nothing?” I am dumbfounded at his sudden disappearance. “Maybe he is going to think about how he can make it up to you?” Tyrene questioned. “Doubtful.” I say frowning. “I am so sorry about my son, Brea. You've been through so much already; you deserve to be treated so much better then how my son just treated you. He knows better and I am so sorry.” Alpha Liam says holding my hand. “STEPHEN!!” Alpha Liam yells as he turns to leave the hospital room giving me one last sympathetic look before following after Stephen. “You know, guys, I think I need to be alone. I'm tired.” I tell Tyrene, Aaron, and Sandi. “Yeah, of course. Not a problem, just link me if you need anything.” Aaron says before getting up and leaving. “Same for me, Brea. I'll just be down the hall doing my rounds.” Sandi says standing to leave behind Aaron. “I’ll be in my room. If you need me or are ready to talk, just let me know.” Tyrene says. She doesn’t leave until I nod my head. “Are you sure you want to do this, Brea?” Kendra asked through our mind-link. “Kendra, I have to know. Just like Alphas can’t live without their mate, Alpha-Lunas can’t either.” I mind-link back to my wolf.
