When I told Angela, Irene and Joy what had happened in our video call later that night, they all laughed so hard, Joy fell from her bed. They didn’t give me any sympathy despite all of this being their plan from the start. They were just too amazed by what Nicholas had done and, at the same time, appalled if that were to happen to them too. In the midst of fits of laughter, Joy even managed to thank all her lucky stars Jae was not as devious whenever the two had a fight.
As for my family, they surprisingly left me alone after I went back to the house. My mother even let me go directly to my bedroom and though Katy couldn’t stop grinning, she just gave me a hug and told me good night.
