Jack wasn't able to dig up anything on Mr. Bamber or Mr. Helygen. That didn't allay his suspicions, but I continued working there, going to the office every time Professor Alarch kicked me out of class. Which, now that my magic skills were improving, was happening more and more frequently. The summer course was pretty basic. After I implemented the intensive practice method, trying to do every exercise quickly and precisely to get it over quickly, it seemed like my progress sped up, showing that quality trumps quantity. Or maybe it was because my magical body was integrated (according to Grandpa, that is), and I had to spend much less time on the Control aspect of magic.
