CHAPTER 10: [ JOEY'S POV]

I woke up suddenly , I looked around I was in the bedroom, I looked beside me- April was sleeping. It was just a dream I thought Rico kidn*pped April in my dream.

I put my head back down on the pillow but then April got out of the bed and ran to the bathroom. I got out and ran towards the bathroom as well - April was puking in the toilet.

She washed her face and everything and turned around " you alright ? ''  " yeah just morning sickness um I'll be fine I just have to take the doctors prescribed pills " she walked back into the bedroom and walked towards the walk in closet " have you thought about the gender like what you want it to be ? " she looked at me " I've always wanted a boy but if its a girl I'll love her as much as I would love a boy besides you should tell Jeff and Jeremy"  " Why Jeff? "  " that day I came to the company , your receptionist didn't want to let me in but thankfully due to Jeff I was able to get in ! "  " that's brave of him ! "  " Oh and when you tell him and his shocked or happy he gets an increase !" " an increase ! ''  " Yeah I did some research and apparently Jeff has been working there for 10 years so I think he deserves an increase "

April walked inside the bathroom and as she was about to close the door  I called her '' babe don't you want to save water ? " she smiled at me  "  I actually want to waste water maybe next time " she winked and closed the door " come on babe!!!''

                                                                                [ APRIL'S POV]

After showering and doing everything I needed to do , I walked inside the walk in closet and started looking for a outfit . It was Sunday and I felt like going ice skating - I took my phone out and called Jeremy: 

APRIL: " Sup Jeremy ! " 

JEREMY: '' Are you high on drugs April? " 

APRIL : '' You just ruined my mojo but anyway I called to tell you we going ice skating today so get Caroline and meet us at the ice skating rink at 9 am , I'll see you there ! "

JEREMY : " Aye aye captain , I'll meet you there bye! '' 

APRIL: { starts laughing } " bye! "

I put on this light blue faded royal wolf denim jeans along with this strap black tank top, I put on some high top black converse shoes. I put my hair in this messy bun and  I didn't apply makeup. I put my phone, wallet and cosmetic bag in my Gucci handbag. I walked out of the bedroom and went to the kitchen , Joey enters the bedroom.

I make us some French toast , sunny side up eggs and of course his coffee and my hot chocolate. I sat the table and I sit down and wait for him.

He walks towards the table and I look at his outfit - his wearing black chino pants along with this black t-shirt and black n white vans , his hair is a bit messy but I have to say he looks like my damn boyfriend more like my HOT boyfriend but why does he have to look so good in black?!

I'm about to take a sip of my hot chocolate when Joey's hands touches mine. I look at him and he places his hand on mine , he smiles at me and I smile back- we sit there staring at each other until I take my other hand and place it under my chin. I look into his beautiful oceanic eyes which are glinting with happiness, his eyes travel all the way from mine to my lips and then back to my eyes. I can't take his gaze on me so I remove my hand from my chin and cover my face. 

                                                                                  [ JOEY'S POV]

I'm currently having a staring competition with April or so I think - she couldn't take it any longer and covered her face with her one hand, she removes her hand and looks at me. " My hot chocolate is getting cold please can I drink it ? "  '' go ahead drink it ! "  " Joey I need my other hand !" " why ? "  " I love holding my mug with two hands and drinking hot chocolate" I smirk at her and pick her hand up and kiss it "Joeyy!"   " yes love! "

After teasing her , I finally let go of her hand. She drank her hot chocolate , went to the kitchen and washed our plates out , after that she took some pills . I just sat there watching her- she was incredible.

After we left the apartment she informed me that we going ice skating and I agreed.

We reached the ice skating rink and Jeremy and Caroline were already ice skating , we got our shoes on and then we got on the ice rink. I was a little skeptical I didn't know how to ice skate " I'll help you come on! "

April helped me , I was getting the hang of it but then as I was about to fall she caught my hand. A few ladies came skating by us supposedly trying to learn how to ice skate but I already knew they wanted to flirt with me. '' Hey dude! " I looked and I see Jeremy , we talked for a while and then I noticed April and Caroline ice skating - they were dancing on ice ; I smiled at how cute April was being.

After we finished ice skating we went to a nearby restaurant, we placed our orders and then April told Jeremy that she's pregnant, he was so happy that he stood up and immediately hugged me. We then left the restaurant and we went our separate ways.

After we came back from ice skating ,  April went to shower and changed in comfortable clothes. I showered and changed, I left the bedroom and I see April laying on the couch she was about to watch this movie called Overdrive - when she saw me she smiled.

I sat on the couch with her and she put her head on my chest, we had this velvet blanket over us- we started the movie and throughout the movie she kept on drawing circles on my hand. We were in the middle of the movie when I got a phone call I answered the call-  it was Rico. I started holding the blanket tighter due to how angry I was, April noticed this and took the phone out of my hand - she put the phone on speaker and spoke to him throughout the conversation Rico was quiet.

After she ended the call she looked at me and smiled, she leaned forward and kissed me on my forehead , we continued watching the movie and then by the end of it, we were both tired.

                                                                                       [ APRIL'S POV ]

It was Monday and it was 5 pm - I was at the dance studio practicing a few new dance moves. " Don't you want to go home? "  I looked at Mrs. Green " I'm almost done!" she walked over to me and put her hand on my shoulder " what's wrong? ''  "I have news to tell you - I'm pregnant ! "  " How is that possible ? " "the father is Joey Arthur! " she put her hand on her mouth " the father is a millionaire , oh sweetie I knew one you will be happy "  " I am , this is honestly the best thing that has happened to me " Mrs. Green smiled at me and gives me a hug " well then I'm happy!" 

                                                                                       [ JOEY'S POV]

I was in my office doing some paperwork but I couldn't seem to focus - I kept on thinking about April, I closed my eyes and I pictured her -  I  missed her smile- her beautiful smile which carried me through my hardest of times. I missed her touch- whenever she  holds my hand or hugs me I feel like the luckiest man in the world. I open my eyes and smile " well why are you so happy? ''  " hey Jeremy , I have to go I'll see you tomorrow "  " where you going? "  " I'm going to the jewelry store , I just realized what an i***t I am, I have the most amazing woman in my life - April came into my life and made it more colorful. I can't stand a day without her - when she's by my side I can get through anything , so Jeremy I'm going to do something about that - I'm going to propose to her not just because she's carrying my child but because I love her - I love April Carrington with my entire heart and I would dress up like a clown just to see her smile! "

'' Well I'm glad I thought I would never see the day when my best friend whose a selfish prick finally gets serious about someone " I chuckle and left the office and drove to the jewelry store.

I was in the jewelry store picking a ring when I came across this teardrop 3 stone engagement ring, I immediately bought it and left the store.

I entered the apartment and I see April laying on the couch reading a book , I walk over to her and kiss her on the forehead " how was your day ? "  " it was boring I missed you! "  " hmm I see well go and get ready!"  " you chasing me away ! "  " I'm not in fact I have a surprise for you which you will have to wait for!"  she winked at me and I chuckled.

I was in the shower washing my hair , after I washed it I felt these hands on my shoulder I turned around and I notice April in the shower with her undergarments on " surprise! " I pull her closer to me and I kiss her she kisses me back , her hands were around my neck and then she placed one hand on my chest, the kiss started deepening and then April places her legs around my torso , my hands were on her back . After we kissed for a long time April took her undergarments off and washed herself , when she was finished she stood under the shower and the way the water flowed down her body was so HOT. I stood in the shower watching her - she was absolutely beautiful , I look at her tummy and  wondered how did I get so lucky ? I was going to be a father this was the best thing that could happen to me.

April and I changed and we ate supper , we were sitting on the bed when suddenly April tells me to place my head on her chest , I did and then we watched some TV together - she was playing with my hair and messing it up, for some reason it felt good , she leaned down and kissed me on my lips I kissed her back. She then went to the kitchen to get something , this was the perfect time!

She entered the room and I kneeled down in front of her , she looked shocked . " APRIL CARRINGTON I SPENT 4 YEARS HATING YOU NOT KNOWING THAT WE COULD BE TOGETHER AGAIN , THAT WE CAN START A FAMILY TOGETHER , I NOT KNOWING THAT I WOULD FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU ALL OVER AGAIN-APRIL CARRINGTON WOULD YOU PLEASE MARRY ME ? "

I was waiting for her reply but instead I noticed her tears , she wiped them away and smiled at me " of course Joey Arthur I would marry you in fact I would it over and over again ! " I put the ring on her finger , stood up and placed my hand on her chin and kissed her ,she kissed me back . I broke the kiss and I looked at her " you honestly made me the luckiest man! '' " no you made me the luckiest woman" I kneeled down and looked at her tummy - I put my hands on her tummy " hey kiddo I don't know your gender but I do know that you going to have an incredible mother and today I became the happiest man alive " I kissed her tummy and hugged her , she hugged me back.
