Arrogant Jack

1645 Words
Alpha Larove paces around his room for a while, I don't attempt to say anything. "You think I'm a monster?" His eyes were wild. I don't say anything, silence offers enough answers. "Perfect, perfect, f*****g perfect!" He yells. Alpha Larove heads over to the nearest wall and punches it. The punch is loud and hard, so loud I nearly jump. I scream instead. Alpha Larove looks at me one last time, his eyes black. Then he bursts out of the room. After his outburst, I change. I also take it upon myself to do a little exploring. Alpha Larove obviously isn't in the pack house because everything seems calm. I walk up to a door and I hear something. "Ah, Felix!" Oh my gosh, did I just hear...? "Faster! Faster!" I need to get out of here. I rush around until I no long know where I am. "Nice legs." I hear a deep voice say. My body tenses and I feel vulnerable. "I've never seen you around here before." The boy whispers in my ear. "Do you n-need something?" I try to sound confident and miserably fail. "Depends on what you can do for me. I'm Eric. I thought you might want to know, you'll be moaning it soon." I can hear the smirk in his face. And his lips were hovering over my neck. "I-I-" Eric cuts me off. "Sh, baby, sh." He starts to suck at my neck. "St-Stop!" I croak. "Stop struggling." He says into my skin. He turns me around and stares at me. I could tell he was looking at my chest because of the arousal in his eyes and his lip biting. He moves closer, I turn away from him. He grabs my shoulders and looks at my face. "You're very pretty." Then he goes in for the kiss. I refuse and he pinches my breasts and I gasp. His tongue dances in my mouth. I attempt to pull away, but his grip on me is too hard. "It's okay." He moves his hands down to my bottom. A whimper escapes my stolen lips. Then all of a sudden I feel free. I open my eyes and I see the silhouette of Alpha Larove. He seems to be killing Eric. "ALPHA!" I scream. I know he can't hear me. Anger freezes out the rest of the world. I rush up to him and start to pull him off Eric. But with my lack of training and his strength, it didn't work. "Don't," punch, "ever," kick, "touch," snap, "her," stomp, "again!" Alpha Larove yells. I'm still pulling on him. Alpha Larove pushes me off of him and I land on the floor. He holds Eric against the wall by his neck, possibly eight feet off the floor. And with one swift move, he kills him. I watch as Eric's body falls. This is the second murder, since yesterday. Alpha Larove turns to face me. "Why were you out here?" The anger was still clouding his eyes. "I-I was just trying to-" He interrupts me. "You know what? I don't care. Do not leave my room." He dismisses me. "Oh and one more thing," I turn to face him, "try not to dress like a slut." I reach the room before Alpha Larove does, and as soon as I get in there I try to fall asleep. But I feel safer with my eyes open. The next morning I wake up, and the side of the bed that Alpha Larove sleeps on was neat. Like he never slept in it. I don't think he did. A small sigh escapes my lips as I get out of the bed. All of the events from last night come flooding back to me and I fall. I kind of just lay there for five minutes. "Oh my..." Emily laughs. I slightly look up at her. Oh my is right. But what she doesn't know is about last night's oh my. "What?" She gives me a weird look. "Nothing!" I instantly state. She looks at me again before clapping her hands together. "So, what's on today's agenda?" Emily smiles brightly. "I can't leave the room." I inform. I don't know why I can't. It doesn't make any sense. "What? Why? Jack." Emily glares at space. This is great. Emily leaves to ask Dean, the Beta, if Alpha Larove is at a meeting. And fifteen minutes later, Emily's back with new information. "Turns out, Jack's at your old pack right now discussing alliances." Emily raises her eyebrows. "Why?" I scoot closer to hear better. "Well, since Jack killed one of your Betas, there's mean some-and to say the least-bad blood between the two packs." I make an understanding sound and she plops down next to me. "Let me show you around, Samantha." That morning, Emily helps me find an outfit that was more me. I am still completely jealous of hers, because it's more rebellious cool. But in the words of Emily Mary Larove I am 'too innocent.' I'm not that innocent. "So, did you and Felix meet at the Mating Ball?" Very few wolves meet their mate before they attend the mating ball. These wolves are very indecisive and demanding. Most come from an Alpha or Beta bloodline. "Well, uh, we met, um, it's complicated." Emily scrunches her nose. "Nothing is really complicated." I shrug. "We're assigned mates." She explains. My jaw drops. And rarely, there are wolves that don't have a mate at all. So those wolves are assigned a mate that is similar to them. The mates are chosen by elimination. Basically, you would fill out a form about yourself and, the counsel would scan and find your match. And the counsel always finds the perfect match. "Oh." I mutter. Emily blinks a few times and she turns her head to look at me. "I love Felix, I really do." She smiles. "I can tell." I whisper to myself referring to the other night. "Okay, did you or did you not see me and Felix having s*x?" Emily raises an eyebrow and runs a red light. I don't answer her. Should I be straightforward? Should I hold back? "Look, this friendship will only work out if you talk, and if you're honest, so please!" I end up giving a truthful answer and she sighs in relief. Why? I've seen her and Felix... you know... she should be feeling embarrassment! "What?" I look at her weirdly. "I have t**s and an ass. If you think that I'm hiding them you're wrong. I have parts under my clothes, and I'm not ashamed of them," says Emily. "So you'd walk around naked?" I try to understand. "Goddess, no! I have self-respect!" Wait, what? Emily spends the rest of the ride to wherever we're going explaining to me that being confident in your body doesn't mean you don't have self-respect. And she's way into that topic. We arrive at some flower shop, in downtown Jackson. "What are we doing here?" I grab my purse and stumble out of Emily's fancy and expensive car. "I want you to meet somebody." And just like she always does, she drags me into the shop. "Aye! How you doin'?" Emily automatically gains an accent. "If it isn't Little E? How long has it been three years?" The girl brings her into what sounds like a bone crushing hug. "It's been a long time. Yo, I want you to meet Jack's mate, Samantha." Emily bobs her head in my directions. "What's up, S Dog? I'm Crash." Crash gives me a generous smile. "Uh, hi." I bite my lip. "Oh, right you must be confused. Crash and I grew up together in The Bronx." For four hours, we talk about family stories, life, just everything. Crash has such an interesting way of viewing the world. She thinks like a philosopher. Everything has beauty, but if you don't give it some attention, you'll never see it. Those words that came out of her mouth, will be stained in my head forever. "Oh, crap!" Emily gasps. "What?" I'm alarmed. "Jack's home early." "What the hell, Emily! Are you really that stupid? Do you know what could've happened to you two out there? You could've gotten hurt, kidnapped, killed! How could you be so idiotic!" Alpha Larove fumes. I look down, unable to conjure a single word. "I was just trying to-" He cuts her off. "You were just trying to get my mate killed! Get out!" He points to the direction of her room. But has Emily walks away, he grabs her arm. "You have one more strike, and you're out of this pack. For good this time." Just like last night, Alpha Larove paces around the room and when it seems he knows what to say he stops. "Stand up." He growls. I obey. He grabs me by my shoulders and pushes me up against the wall. And smacks me across the face. There's going to be a handprint on my face for days. I hiss pain, tears threaten to break free. "I thought I specifically told you to stay in your room! And you disobey me? In case you've forgotten you're in my pack. MY PACK! You will not disrespect me like that ever again. You're sleeping in the dungeons tonight, no food until lunch tomorrow." He looks me in the eyes, coldly. I whimper and fall onto the ground when he lets me go. "Next time you disobey me, the consequences will be far more fatal, Samantha." He grabs my arms and drags me all the way downstairs. We get to the dungeons and he tells the guards something I can't hear. He watches as the man with red hair roughly pushed me into one of the cells. Alpha Larove looks at me one last time, then disappears in the darkness.
