Noah's Pov

So we are heading to Grayson's for a meal. My father has told me he wants me to marry one of his daughters and he said that it would more than likely be Ivy, apparently she is the disappointment, the outspoken one, but i just we will find out. As we are talking to Mr and Mrs Grayson, i hear a car pull up at the gates, i look at it not a bad motor, always liked bmw’s, as it pulls up a young woman gets out, wow she is breathtaking, her brown hair flowing in loose curls and her outfit shows of her figure, she is stunning, as she approaches us she said “ good evening mother, father” then she turns and nods her head to us “ good evening, im Ivy Grayson, nice to meet you all” so this is Ivy she is beautiful, how can she be the disappointment, my heart is racing but i mask my face to coldness, she stick her hand out for us to shake hands, “ Good evening miss Grayson, im Mason Baldwin and this is my wife, Evelyn Baldwin and my son Noah Baldwin”out for us to shake hands,we all shake hands,“ please call me Ivy, i'm going to head in, if you will excuse me” i see her father grab her wrist and i listen to what they say to each other “ don't embarrass us tonight” she scoff, she pulls her hand away from him, “ don't think so big of yourself father” she got some balls, that's what my dad means by being outspoken, i like it, as she goes i watch her walk away, does she know the reason why we are here? I wonder if my parents are talking to the graysons and I am just standing here like an i***t.

As we are walking towards the dining area, I see Ivy and that must be her brother Alex coming out. Her father said “ where are you two going". She smirked at her father “ just popping out to show Alex my car and how it drives”. Well, he looks angry, she smirks again, she turns to me “ Noah, would you like to come along? It would be rude if I didn't invite a guest” my dad laughs. “ I would love to go as well, to be honest, that car is something I've always wanted but I'm too old now” she giggles. The sweetest laugh i have ever heard. “You are never too old sir, if you are wanting to join, feel free”. I see her brother whisper in her ear and try to listen “ father is going to be so pissed off with you ivy” she smile “ what else is the disappointment suppose to do” alex's laughs “ you know me and mum don't think that, we support your choices” “ i know and i love you both more for it”, at least she has her brother and her mother.

Me and my dad joined them, and I started looking around the car. It's kind of impressive, she must have worked really hard to get this, because it isn't cheap. That's for sure “ Ivy how quick does this thing go?” “ It can go from 0-60 in 3.14 seconds” she said happily, that smile makes me have a slight smile, and i think she may have noticed. “ impressive” “ thank you”“ let's get in and go for a quick drive shall we?” for some reason i can't stop looking at her, i need to sort my head out, i've just met her “ are you coming noah” “err yeah sure”.me and my dad get in the back, Alex is upfront with his sister.

She starts the car up and the engine comes to life, my dad is ginning like a kid at Christmas, I can see Alex fidgeting like an excited child and I just sit here, we pull out of the driveway “ right gents, where did you want to go?” “ somewhere to open her up” she smirks “ if you say so mr baldwin” she smirks to Alex, she drives to this abandoned estate, "Ivy, how did you know this was here?” she smile and looks at my dad “i'm not just a pretty face mr baldwin, i'm not your normal classy business owner, i have hobbies and cars is one of them” ok that was hot, she is my sort of girl, alex turns to her “ i know exactly what your going to do ivy and i would rather live” she laughs and it sounds like music to my ears “ we have guest, im sure they don't want to be spinning everywhere, ill save that last for you my dear brother"i see alex's eyes widen with horror, and my dad snickering i cant help but smile to myself this should be fun. “ are we ready gents” i nod, with that she put the accelerator down and lifting quickly off the clutch, she is something else this women and i cant help but smile "bloody hell ivy, i want to live!!" i hear her laugh at her brother. After a few laps around the estate, she comes to a slow stop “did you enjoy your ride gents?” my dad and alex nod, and i'm left speechless she can f*****g drive, ill give her that, but i have to act cool “ noah, did you want to drive?” i look at her “ no” ok that was rude but she is a better driver than me “alex i promise you something didn't i” she smirk, this is going to be good “ can i ask both of you to get out and then you can enjoy my brother screaming like a girl” my dad laughs, we both get out, she turn to alex “ ready big bro” she doesnt give him a chance to answer as she drift in circles, then a figure of eight, then back to circles, and then to a stop, “ ok gents you can get back in” i smile as i'm going to get it, that was pretty awesome and hearing alex scream was priceless, as we got in i look at both of them “ did you enjoy it brother” he glares at her, she laugh, “ i must say ivy that was impressive” she smile at my dad “ thank you mr baldwin” “please call me mason” “ ok thank you mason”.

We head back and walk into the house, “ about time, always have to ruin everything don't you ivy” she glare at her sister “ sorry Ava, i didn't even see you there, normally your up daddies ass” ok i had to bit back a laugh “ enough ivy” she turn to her father “oh please spare me a lecture im 27 years old so don't tell me what to do” she definitely has balls “ ivy sit down, we need to talk to you” we all take a seat and the food is brought out to us.“ ivy your going to be marrying noah” by the look on her face she had no idea, i thought it would of been ava to be honest, “ i'm sorry what?” her mum looks down in her lap, her father stares at her, she turn me, waiting for my reaction but im just as shocked because it her, “ when was this decided, i dont even no him and for what bloody reason do you need to marry me off for?!” my dad clears his throat, “we need allies and marrying you two would merge the companies” she look at me “ and your ok with this” i shake my head “ i don't have a choice” “ yeah you do, don't marry me!, marry ava if anyone” ava scoff “ no thank you i have a boyfriend” she looks at ava “ you have a different one every week” i again bite back a laugh “ enough ivy, your marrying him in 3 days, end of discussion”.

Three days! What the actual f**k, she get up from the table “ no im not” “ you will if not i'll disown you” she laugh “ good do it, i don't need you, i have my own company and money” he laughs “ no but you will want to see your brother and mother” ok, nice blackmail your daughter “ im not a something you can just pass off, i was a daughter you was proud of once and ill be dammed if you think im marrying a stranger, no offense Noah" " none taken" " three days ivy and that final" "your a prick” i agree with her,she turns to my dad,mother and me, “ it was nice to meet you, but i have to leave before i do something stupid” she turn to walk out, everyone starts shouting at each other, i get up and go after her, i grab her hand, “ ivy wait” she turn and come face to face with me, i can see her eyes start to water “ im sorry noah i have to go” i pull her back and push her up against the wall, our faces inches away from each other, she freeze, i cant help myself my eyes flicker to her lips,she bites her lip and look down, oh f**k, i go closer to her and whisper in her ear “ we have to do it ivy, we will end the marriage after 2 years and you will be free to do as you please” “ we dont know eachother noah, you deserve someone that loves you” she seem like she cares i give her a grateful smile and i back away abit but still hold her hand, i just want to protect her “ so do you, but maybe, think of its as two friends helping out their families” "two years?" i nod "then if you want to go separate ways we will" she nod and walk back with me.

As we walk back, their eyes were on us. I still have her hand and I give her hand a recurring squeeze. I look at her and smile, she smiles back, I look at our parents, back to my coldness. “ our agreement is 2 years and then we end the marriage. She deserves to marry the one she loves.” I look down at her, she is already looking at me. I smile at her, she gives me a little one back.

Her father looks at me. “ I'll get arrangement ready” i turn to Ivy “ I'm going to leave now, but here is my number, if he starts being an ass, call me.” I hand her a piece of paper with my number on it, she looks at me, and smiles a little “ thanks Noah”, i smile back “ no problem", with that i turn to my parents “ i'm leaving now, i think we have all had enough for one night, thank you mr and mrs grayson” i turn to ivy “ i'll see you later ivy” with that i walk away.
