Xander (POV)
I was sitting in my quarters with Jazmine waiting for the Elders to make their discission.
"Does it normally take this long?" Jazmine asked. There was stress in her voice.
"I'm sure it's just Jasper holding things up. "The Elders probably had their minds decided before they walked out of the arena," I told her, kissing the top of her head.
"Elder Mary is on her way to see you." Jackalynn mind-linked to me.
"Where is she?"

I stood just as the door to my quarters opened. Jazmine looked startled as Mary walked in the door.
"We don't have much time. "I had to sneak away," she laughed.
