Vero " I cann't believe I'm going back. This isn't what life is supposed to be like. You're supposed to get married and build a life together, grow old and watch your kids raise some of their own. You're not supposed to be watching the marriage burn, watching everything you ever loved just go up in flames." Vero thinks as her pen glides across her divorce papers. "Here you go. You really want nothing do with us." she asks putting her hand to her stomach. They only just found out 2wks ago, they havent even had an ultrasound yet " I'm sorry Vero but I've always loved her and now we can be happy. In order for that to happen I just can't continue to tie myself to you." Jack says as he stands " Please go she'll be here soon to move in" Vero gets up fighting back tears, she climbs into her car one of the only things he let her keep. that and the ten thousand in her savings. Just enough to get her back home to Dallas where she'll start her new teaching job at Berry Elementary. This is really it I am going home, Just a 4hr drive back to face everyone who always thought we'd never make it. God all the I told you so are going to kill me. Lenny She's coming home, at least that's what her sister Alyssa said. I try not show I care but man. I've missed that ray of sunshine. She could always light a room up. " Can't you believe it?" Alyssa pulls me from my thoughts " I mean I new they would never last but I figured maybe thay had a shot after 6yrs" " They're divorced?" I ask praying to God the hope in my voice doesn't show. " Yup, the ink is probably still drying from when they signed this morning. "She said she has something really big she wants to talk to me and ma about. Sounded kinda sad about it though. Well I'll see you around Lenny it was nice running into you" I mutter a goodbye as my thought wonder to sunshine how it's no longer sunny there. Trying to figure out how to fix it when I have no f*****g clue what's causing it. Once she back I'll fix the damage that other boy did, because someone who can break a women like Vero just can't be a man.
