With her previous knowledge and her newfound courage to explore, Evalynn had come to know nearly every part of the manor since Edgar left. Even with all the staff, many areas of the manor were hardly used and remained for the most part empty, with servants only visiting them to dust quickly.
It had been a few days after Edgar left that Quinn had excitedly pulled Evalynn down the long halls of the manor, telling her, "It's my special place that I go when everyone is being mean to me". It had seemed childish to Evalynn at the time, especially since Quinn was sixteen, only two years younger than herself.
