Chapter 27 For the first three days after his visit with his brother and the clergy, all was normal for Michael McDuff. He went about his quiet life in Fodelson Prison doing everything asked of him, keeping his head down and avoiding attention. Attention from the guards was never a good thing. On the morning of the fourth day, the fractures began to show. When Michael McDuff woke that morning, he knew his usual daily workload was expected of him.
