Chapter 5 Fired

Meanwhile, the lights in the operating room flashed and Jacob emerged. He had consumed a lot of chi to heal Mr. Feng. He walked towards them, saying, "The patient is doing fine at the moment, but his condition is still critical. We need to observe carefully. Do not extract the silver needles on his body for the time being." Susan ran forward and screamed wildly. "How is my son? Who are you? My son's health is precious. If you did not treat him properly, I'll teach you a lesson." Jacob's face suddenly turned cold. The injured man had been in a critical situation. If it weren’t for Jacob’s efforts, he would have died long ago. Although he did not obey the hospital rules, Jacob had also saved a life after all. And now the family members of the injured man were cursing at him, and this made him extremely unhappy. He said to her, "The patient is alright..." "He had better be. Otherwise, I'll have you in a prison for the rest of your life." Susan yelled as she turned to the director. "Director Huang, I don't want to see this person. Get him out of the hospital." On the contrary, Gavin was being more sensible. He glanced at Jacob coldly and strode into the operating room. Master Connor followed suit, with some doctors at his heels. "Jacob, who gave you the right to operate on the patient? The patient's identity is not ordinary. Are you capable of dealing with the consequences if something bad happens? It doesn't matter if you suffer alone, but don't implicate the hospital." Chief Doctor Liew shouted. Jacob said coldly, "The patient is alright now. I will bear the responsibility. Chief Doctor Liew, you don't have to worry about it." Chief Doctor Liew sneered and said, "All right? Even Master Connor may not be able to save the patient. You're just an intern. Aren't you afraid that you have overestimated yourself?" Director Huang looked at Jacob and said angrily, "Whatever your background is, pack your things and leave the hospital once and for all." Jacob looked on coldly and said, "If you want me to leave, give me a legitimate reason." Director Huang shouted, "You had operated on a patient without before obtraining an official medical license!" Jacob retorted, "Doctors should be benevolent. At that time, the patient's life had reached a critical level. I was very sure I could cure him." "You were very sure?" Director Huang shouted angrily, "Even if you are 100 percent sure, it's not up to you to do this operation. You, as an intern, have no right to enter the operating room. Get out of here now. It's my greatest tolerance to you to choose not to punish you." Jacob smiled coldly and took off his intern tag from his chest. He slammed it on the ground and shouted, "I don't ask for credit when practicing medicine to save lives, but I only ask to be free from this wrong accusation. Well, I don't feel like staying here, in a hospital that only cares about its own benefit." After Jacob finished speaking, he strode away. "You..." The head of the hospital was trembling with anger. In the operating room, Master Connor was stunned, as he looked at the equipment indicating that the patient was stable. The patient breathed smoothly and blood had come back to his face. He was in a stable condition. The patient's legs were fixed with a splint and his bones were no longer jutting out at angles. Obviously, they had been connected, which was incredible to Master Connor. After all, this had been a comminute fracture. Moreover, the patient's breathing seemed to be smooth. Obviously, the broken bones piercing his lung had been removed. Master Connor did not know how Jacob had achieved this. "How is he doing?" Gavin asked. Seeing Master Connor finish his checks but saying nothing, Gavin's heart tightened. Master Connor said, "The patient's condition is stable, he should be fine. The intern’s work was extraordinary." Gavin breathed a sigh of relief. Susan asked anxiously, "Is my son alright? Will there be any after effects?" After a moment's thought, Master Connor said, "It seems that the treatment to every injury was spot on and the technique is not ordinary. There shouldn't be any serious problems." "Should be?" Susan's expression immediately changed. She screamed, "I want an accurate answer." Master Connor said, "The patient's injuries are too serious, and his condition is ever changing. It will take some amount of observation before we can come to a conclusion." "Observation? What observation? Every year we donate tens of millions of yuan to the hospital, and for what? For you useless doctors? I want the results now." Susan screamed sarcastically. Master Connor's face immediately darkened. He, an expert in orthopaedics, had never been doubted with so much humiliation.
