Master Connor said with some anger, "The money you donated is for charity purposes. To put it bluntly, it's also for your own reputation. And all the money is used for medical treatment. We doctors rely on our medical skills to live, not on your fake entrepreneurs’ money."
The more Master Connor thought about it, the angrier he became. At last, Master Connor shouted, "Your son's illness needs to be treated by some other person. I can't cure him."
After that, Master Connor left without turning back.
"Master Connor... Master Connor..." Seeing Master Connor leave, Gavin glared at Susan angrily.
At this time, Chief Doctor Liew came over and took a look at Brandon Feng’s injury. He said with a charming smile, "Mr. Feng is fine now. Please be rest assured."
Gavin breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Thank you, Chief Doctor Liew."
Chief Doctor Liew was flattered and said, "Mr. Feng, you're too kind. It's all right. Mr. Feng and Mrs. Feng, please get some rest. I'll transfer Young Mr. Feng to the VIP ward."
Gavin nodded and walked out of the ward with Susan.
Chief Doctor Liew turned around and saw more than a dozen silver needles on the injured man. He couldn't help but frown and said, "What is this? Is it acupuncture? Pull it all out."
Jonathan hesitated and said, "But Jacob said that the silver needles can't be pulled out for now."
"Is Jacob the surgeon of the hospital or am I the surgeon in this hospital?" Chief Doctor Liew was a little unhappy.
Jonathan was angry, but Chief Doctor Liew was powerful in the hospital. Jonathan did not dare refute him, he gritted his teeth and took the silver needles off and then left immediately.
Chief Doctor Liew snorted, but he was happy in his heart. Young Master Feng seemed to have no big medical issues. It was such a good opportunity to please Mr. Feng.
Before Chief Doctor Liew could enjoy this bit of joy, he heard a shrill alarm sounding from the monitoring equipment.
Chief Doctor Liew was shocked and quickly turned around to have a look, he felt his head exploding, and the original data on the instrument suddenly changed. Chief Doctor Liew’s heartbeat accelerated and his blood pressure soared. Moreover, the patient was having breathing difficulties and his mouth began bleeding.
"Go and fetch Master Connor..." Chief Doctor Liew was so scared that he was almost peeing in his pants.
Master Connor, who had not gone far, was asked to come back after a long pursuit by Chief Doctor Liew.
The operating room was in a mess again.
Master Connor looked at the patient and shouted, "Where are the silver needles on his body?"
Chief Doctor Liew was so scared that he said stutteringly, "Already… pull...pulled them out,”
"Nonsense, the patient's situation is unstable, and he only relied on silver needles to hang on to his life. Why did you pull them out?"
"I didn't pull them out." Chief Doctor Liew said with fear.
When Jonathan saw that Chief Doctor Liew was going to make him as the scapegoat, he quickly stepped forward and said, "Mr. Feng, Chief Doctor Liew ordered me to pull them out..."
Gavin almost wanted to kill Chief Doctor Liew. Gavin stared at Chief Doctor Liew fiercely, wishing he could pull out Chief Doctor Liew's tendons and tear his skin off, alive.
"Then... can we put them back?" Chief Doctor Liew said in a panic.
Master Connor shook his head and said, "No, acupuncture is far more complicated than what you think. You need to perform it according to the patient's illness type, depth, tenacity, and path of Chi in the body. The patient's situation will be worse if we stabbed rashly."
"You bastard, if anything happens to my son, I'll kill you..." Susan heard the bad news and pounced on Chief Doctor Liew without caring about her image, beating and punching him mercilessly.
Chief Doctor Liew screamed, bloody wounds immediately appeared on his face and hands.
Fortunately, Gavin was calm. Although Gavin son's situation pained him, he did not lose the demeanour of a leader and elder. Gavin ordered bodyguards to pull Susan away from Chief Doctor Liew.
Gavin pleaded to Master Connor, "Master Connor, please think of a way to save him. All I have is my son."
Master Connor picked up a silver needle and saw that the needle was as thin as and as soft as a strand of hair. Master Connor really couldn't figure out how Jacob had inserted such a soft needle into Brandon Feng’s body.
Master Connor sighed and said, "I'm sorry I can't do anything about it. Go and find the intern. Perhaps he has a way."
Gavin's face darkened, but he nodded for the life of his son.
"We must hurry up. I'm afraid your son won't last long." Master Connor left.
Gavin immediately glanced at Chief Doctor Liew coldly and then strode away.
Chief Doctor Liew was disheartened. He quickly ran forward and said, "Mr. Feng, the intern's name is Jacob, a student from the Oakdale Medical University. He doesn't know anyone here and he is probably returning to his campus now."
Gavin stood still and glanced at Chief Doctor Liew coldly. He said in a low voice, " Chief Doctor Liew, if something bad happens to my son because of this, you had better prepare to pack up and leave."
Chief Doctor Liew's legs went limp and he sat on the ground.
After returning to the dormitory and packing up his baggage, Jacob left the hospital's dormitory.
Jacob took the last bus out and returned to his campus.
Just as Jacob got off the bus and walked towards the school gate, he heard the roar of a car engine behind him.
A black Buick suddenly stopped in front of Jacob, and then several people with sharp eyes got out of the car.
Jacob recognized these people. They were the bodyguards of Gavin.
The leading bodyguard stopped Jacob and said coldly, "Young master Feng's condition has changed. Mr, Feng requests for you to go back to the hospital."
These bodyguards looked cold and harsh, which immediately made Jacob angry.
Jacob reached out to push away the hand in front of him, and said coldly, "I am just a little intern. I can't cure your young master Feng's illness. Please seek for someone else."
The bodyguard shouted, "Mrs. Feng ordered that I should take you back even if I have to tie you up. Please come back with us, it's a better choice for you."
Jacob was furious. Was this the right attitude for them to ask for help?
He ignored the four bodyguards and walk towards the school gate.
The bodyguard frowned and reached out to twist Jacob’s hands.
These bodyguards were professional bodyguards, and some of them were veterans. Their skills were extraordinary. If ordinary people were caught by them, they might have no other choice but not to resist.
However, how could ordinary people compare to Jacob? Jacob bent his right hand and pressed on the bodyguard’s acupoint in his hand. After a few moments, Jacob gently pushed the bodyguard back.
The bodyguard only felt a burst of numbness in his hands, and his two hands couldn't exert any strength instantly. Then he felt a strong anti-shock force. Lastly the bodyguard took a few steps back and crashed against the door with a bang.
The four others bodyguards were shocked. It turned out that Jacob was a hidden martial art Master. The remaining bodyguards shouted and rushed towards Jacob together.
Jacob rushed forward and grabbed a bodyguard's right hand, and with a gentle twist, the bodyguard screamed and dropped his hand feebly. His arm had been “disabled” by Jacob.
The other two bodyguards also had their right arms “disabled” after Jacob pressed on their acupoints.
The four bodyguards were shocked. They were all professional bodyguards. They had been strictly trained, but when facing this ordinary-looking student, they had lost their fighting skills in an instant. They knew that they had truly met a master this day.
Jacob did not say a word, he turned around and left.
