Glass doors slide open. Soft music plays. The boutique is bright, elegant and intimidatingly quiet. Racks of designer clothes line the walls. A well-dressed elegant attendant stands behind the counter as they approached her.
ATTENDANT: Hello! Welcome to Elegant beauty boutique. Here we serve well-tailored and designed clothes for every occasion.
KAEL: Can you show me your well-designed and expensive clothes?.
ATTENDANT: Sure, follow me.
They followed the attendant to the most exclusive part of the boutique, where expensive fabrics and bold designs immediately caught their attention.
ATTENDANT: smiles Feel free to choose any dress you prefer, or if you want I can help you with it.
KAEL: Don’t worry, she usually likes the dress I choose for her. Right?
LENA: smiles Yeah.
The attendant smiled and walked away.
LENA: So….do you actually have something in mind, or I should choose them myself?
KAEL: You heard what I told the attendant right? So why would I let you pick a dress for yourself.
Kael said as he rummaged through the dresses
LENA: And what if I don’t like whatever you choose?
KAEL: I don’t care, I brought you here, so I make the rules. Or you want us to be strangers again?
Lena frowned.
LENA:sighs No.
KAEL: So then just wear whatever I choose. Ok?
LENA: nods, hiding her irritation Sure.
KAEL: Good
Kael then handed her a deep blue, floor-length dress with a fitted waist and soft, flowing fabric. Lena stared at it for a moment, surprised, before gently taking from him. She then went to the dressing room.
Lena stepped out of the fitting room, adjusting the dress slightly. She looked at herself in the mirror, her eyes widening as she realized how perfectly it fits.
KAEL: shakes his head Not this one. Try this instead.
He handed her a pale gold dress with simple detailing along the hem.
Lena took the dress and disappeared into the fitting room. She soon stepped out, dressed and composed. She stood infront of the mirror satisfied with the dress, hoping Kael would like it too.
Kael gave a small, approving nod, his expression calm but impressed.
KAEL: Not bad. I like this one.
LENA: sighs Glad to know that. Can I pick some other house clothes?
KAEL: Sure. And also your face doesn’t look like my fiancé’s face, so we’ll go to the spa after here.
LENA: But won’t that delay our time, plus I can do my own makeup, I’m good at it trust me.
KAEL: sighs If you say so, I won’t have to waste money on you anyways.
LENA: Excuse me? I seriously don’t like this attitude of yours.
KAEL: What are you gonna do about it, huh?
LENA: smiles You’ll know that very soon.
KAEL: Whatever, just pick the clothes and let’s get going.
Lena pressed her lips together, hiding her irritation, and walked towards the racks, picked out the clothes and joined Kael at the checkout counter. They paid and left.
They got to the car and Lena took out her makeup kit and started with the make-up, Kael was surprised by how good she was, but he didn’t say anything.
LENA: I’m done. How does it look?
KAEL: Good.
LENA: smiles Thanks.
KAEL: Okay. First, we are going to my rival company. And whatever happens, you stick with my story.
LENA: nods Sure
