CHAPTER EIGHT “Get in!” Tegan shouted at the frogs. The little toadies didn’t argue but hopped into the box. However, Toby hopped onto my shoulder as my broom danced about me in a panic. The front flap opened and my broom tried to fling itself at the first guard, but I wrapped my arms around it and hugged the sweeper to myself. The guards were armed with sharp swords and they didn’t look like the kind of men who would spare a broom. Tegan tossed aside some of the items and lifted the bottom of the tent. “Out!” I was only too eager to obey and scurried under the canvas.
