Chapter 7 Charles kept country hours for dinner, and he waited for his guest in the study with a jug of lemonade and two glasses. Farrah had seemingly recovered from his initial shock of not drinking wine, or ale, or even brandy well and now he indulged in the lemonade or even plain water, cold from the well, without comment.
