I got into the hall where the final dinner for the diamonds began and I wasn't expecting much. I just decided to get this over with me to avoid my mother's constant bickering.
I met with the crowned diamond and I was not so surprised because I suspected that mother had been secretly rooting for us together. Other than the fact that she is absolutely stunning, I don't know why we should be shipped together. Especially with the fact that I now have a very ugly scar across my face. I never want to be an object of pity.
But meeting with Elena was not what I expected. She approached, more like she ambushed me from behind, and asked if I had found a date. When I did not give her an answer, she turned me around and literally dragged my feet to where Jane was. I was so surprised.
