When the dust had settled, I now knew why there was a commotion in the first place. A very ugly-looking monster that can not be really described burst into the hall and charged at them.
The guards that charged at him were thrown away like a pack of cards. It seems like the monster is stronger than it looks. One of my team members charged at it and dug its spear at it. The spear broke through without penetrating its skin at all. Then, right before my eyes, the monster grabbed hold of Simon and bit him in the neck.
He screamed and in seconds, Simon metamorphosed into an unstable thing. He looked dead but alive. He began to smell something repulsive and was attacking a whole lot of wolves. Any wolf he bit began to change like him.
Within a few minutes, there were over ten wolve
