Chapter 4: An Unfamiliar Girl

P.O.V:  Leo

I recently moved to City, my parents have been divorced for almost 12 years now. I have a younger brother who stays with my Mom. And I stay with my dad and stepmother. I never had a normal childhood, I have seen my parents fight, abuse each other. After witnessing all this, if marriage is this then, I wish never to get married.

I am 24 now, I have been in love that's what I can say now. that relationship lasted for 3 yrs. I was crazily in love with her. But eventually, she left me, broken and to hurt. 

After that, I never want to fall in love again.

Now that I am back to the city I went to visit my friend Willson, it been long I have seen him. He is been there for me through all this time. He is like my elder brother I respect and love him a lot. It always feels being home when I visit him. his Mother treats me as his own. Because of her I always come across motherly love. which I Miss and wish the most. he has a younger sister, she is cute and a Diva she is an aspiring dancer. This family's love never makes me feel alone or lost.

As I visit them, there is someone else also here to pay a visit. 

I see a girl walking up to me with a wide smile, just as I was sitting and talking to Willson. catching up on all things we missed. This girl seems familiar but I can't remember. As I am trying to remember her. there is a voice I hear in front of me

"Don't tell me, you don't remember me"

I look up from where this voice came and this girl is standing there and smirking at me.

I am confused?

just then Willson nudges me and says " don't you remember Ann"

And I raise my eyebrow in finally remembering " Ohh Ann"

She is been my friend Cathcethis. and its been years I have met her

I Finally smile at her "Ann"

And gave her a small hug, Then we catch up on all our things and talk about almost everything, there were some laughs, some tears shed but mostly all smiles.

Just as we were winding up and about to leave I see Ann booking a cab ride. 

I went and offered her to drop her home.

She was happy and called her mother informing her about it. We walked towards my car, and hear her voice full of excitement. I turn to look at her. 

After ending the call she comes to me with a wide smile. I ask her what happened some Good news to be so excited about.

She said " My Aunt came to visit us and it's been long I have seen her"

I just smiled thinking Aunt as in some elderly woman.

And after a Short drive and bit chatting we reached her home.

And Ann asked me to come and say Hi to her parents at least, its been long they have seen me.

"okay"

we went upstairs and Ann rang the Door Bell.

I Was leaning at the door frame and looking at the house, its really been long I have actually been here. before I moved out of this city we use to be here almost every Sunday chill out here. Ann's mom is very kind and sweet for letting us be here and make noise, jam and sometimes a party too.

Just as I was lost in my thoughts remembering my old times.

The door was open, I look up and see an unfamiliar Girl she should be 19 around almost Ann's age. She had wheatish complexion and her hair tied in a messy bun. She was thin and slender. her big brown eyes full of innocence and tenderness caught my attention.
