ELEVEN Despite having had enough sleep, Brian felt groggy as he unlocked the door to his place of business. Coffee was definitely the first order of the day. He walked through the darkened customer dining area, pushing open the swinging door to the kitchen, but his foot touched something as he attempted to cross through. Hard to tell what one of the employees had left on the floor. Brian reached behind to the wall and flipped on the overhead lights. What met his eyes was totally unexpected.
