TWENTY-ONE Since Tank had arrived, life at the B and B had been interesting. Not only was he an odd character, which required adjustments from Angie, but his persona affected other visitors as well. During the week people didn’t usually book rooms, except in the summer months, but on the weekends, that was a different story. When ladies came for a weekend of anticipated peace and quiet, and visitors usually were female, they encountered Tank, the colorful character. Thinking about one particular weekend visit from four women, Angie had to chuckle as she cleaned the bathroom. The toilet brush in her hand had prompted the memory.
