Chapter 1 The beginning At the age of 9 my parents filed a divorce. I grew up on my father side. During weekends my mother borrowed me from my dad. They remained friends. At the age of 24 my parents told me they are not my real father and mother. I’m an adopted child. I just found out my favorite god father is my real dad. Even him he had no idea I’m his daughter. My god father and I are close. I’m Carla Featheringham I’m 27 years of age from the land of Amsterdam, New York City. This is my story. According to my parents who adopts me. In year 1994 at Santa Barbara California. There was a girl named Elizabeth Lodge she is 19 years old during that time. Elizabeth Lodge is my real mom she wanted to kill herself she’s trying to jump at the bridge. But Mr. And Mrs. Featheringham stops her. They asked her why she wanted to jump during that time. She answered their question. She said she is pregnant she didn’t know how to raise a child. Mr. And Mrs. Featheringham helps her. They are willing to adopt her child inside her womb. Featheringham adopts me in year 1994. They didn’t ask who is my biological dad.
