"That's what I'm talking about, I'll gather up whoever I can from my side, unless Celtic here isn't going to smash them up." said Riley. "They were going to kill me, and I'm sorry about that." said Griffin. "Sorry isn't going to bring them back but… Whatever, I didn't even know those guys, weirdos, always kept complaining they need more, I meant the council of course." said Riley.

"What about Jim? Who's going to take care of him?" asked Mary. "He's under sedation, I've did everything I could to stop him from becoming her t****l, we'll see how it goes." said Riley. "Her t****l?" asked Peter. "Yeah, vampires can't turn others in to vampires, there's a ritual to make one, but thralls of course could be, their purpose is only to serve their master, while dear Jim may have avoided the fate of being Serena's lapdog, it doesn't mean he will be fully cured." said Riley.

"He should be alive, that's all that matters to me." said Peter. "Okay, if that's alright, I could stay behind and take care of Jim." said Mary. "That's great, but you're sure you want to stay behind?" asked Griffin. "Yeah it's fine, rest of you are needed back in Ceuvest, besides I'll be in touch from here, no big deal." said Mary. "Alright, I'll call you once I'm done with gathering allies, good luck guys, godspeed." said Riley as he leaves the scene.

"We need to find where Jacody and Eve are at, better start at Wakefield Falls." said Peter. "But how to get there? The city's under full lockdown." said Griffin. "I could get you in, I'm the mayor remember, it is my city." said Kaityln. "We better get going then, come on." said Peter.

Meanwhile in Wakefield Falls, Jacody and Eve are found by Wolves, who had taken them back to Wolfcre as they are being tended to.

Jacody is watching Eve as she wakes up. "Where are we?" asked Eve. "Back at Wolfcre, I've searched everywhere after leaving you here but was not able to find him, I lost him Eve, again." said Jacody. "You didn't lose him Jacody, you saved me, Peter is more than just a kid now, he'll find a way to come back to us." said Eve.

"I hope you're right, I was helpless to save him, I should have done something." said Jacody. "You did, don't sweat about it. You're a great dad Peter could ever have." said Eve. Just then, a Clansmen approaches them. "The keeper requests your presence." said the Clansmen. "We'll be there." said Eve as she tries to get up. "Don't strain yourself, I got this." said Jacody. "No it's alright." said Eve. "It is fine Eve, you did your best, now let me take of this." said Jacody who sends her back to rest and goes to meet the keeper. As he arrives, he notices the keeper weaving loom in a unique way. "You asked for me?" asked Jacody. "Yes, it's Jacody right? please come." said the keeper.

"Please, like I said before, call me Jake, any progress on finding Peter and Jim?" asked Jacody. "I'm afraid not, we're still looking for them, meanwhile can I ask you something?" asked the keeper. "Sure, how can I help?" asked Jacody. "You've mentioned as being the guardian of Peter, may I ask what happened to his biological father? If it is alright." asked the keeper.

"It's quite complicated… I could tell, of course, but why do you want to know?" asked Jacody. "I've known each alphas from the time they died till the first they arrived on this world, but Peter remains a complete mystery..

I am not even sure why he chose to lead us, but he's a natural leader, quite a good one too, one we didn't have in a very long time." said the Keeper. "I understand.. but you have to understand, his father isn't like him." said Jacody.

"Of course, please, tell." said the Keeper. "Franklin Holman, where to begin?

He was my best friend, we’ve met in high school, he was the only senior who didn’t make my school life a tough time, and he was a popular athlete, good friend, for a time until he came in to relationship with some unsettling people, got into substance a***e, it started out as a joke but then it got serious, I tried the best I could to make him stop.

However, he changed, started to behave a bit distanced, things became even more complicated when his girlfriend became pregnant, it caused a lot of unsettling troubles with everyone, minutes after her delivery, her parents took her away from Ceuvest, Peter was raised by his grandparents, then Holmen was sent to the military.

I've always felt a connection with him, he was a bright kid, but sadly was left with a terrible past, years later, Williams came back, but not whole, there were certain… episodes, one day it got worse, there was a incident and both of Peter's grandparents were… Well, after that, he committed suicide, Peter was just 8 when it happened, it took really long years to reach him but I never gave up, I tried..despite all the barriers and borders, and finally.

I did, I became the father he wanted, and I'm proud of how he turned out to be, I do not care whether he shares my blood, Peter is my son, he will always be." said Jacody.

"He is your son Jacody, there won't be any change in that, our past don't define us, we chose to free ourselves to live in peace, just like Peter, I'm grateful you the one that raised him, he couldn't have got a better father." said the keeper. 

Meanwhile a van arrives at the border of Ceuvest, now filled with soldiers on both ends, just as they head, they are stopped by a soldier. The soldier arrives close to the Driver's seat and knocks. The window opens and Kaityln is revealed to be the driver.

"Mrs Mayor? I thought you went missing?" asked the Soldier. "Well, luckily I am found, now can I head back to city please?" asked Kaityln. "Hold on, I need to inform this." said the soldier as he goes over to his post, he picks up the phone but and calls out, but no one responds. After a while, he returns back to the Van. "Mrs Mayor, I'm sorry, there is no response from the inside, without proper authorization, I can't send you in." said the soldier.

"What do you mean can't send me in? My kids are in there, I've spent day and night trying my best to protect this city, now I'm not even allowed in." said Kaityln.

"I am really sorry ma'am, but it's out of my hands, besides, aren't Washington DC police department looking for you?" asked the soldier. "It's all been solved, look, there is two ways this could go done, both of which leaves with you being fired for what you're doing, which I am personally looking forward to." said Kaityln.

"Why? I am just doing my job." said the soldier. "Doing your job? Your job is to keep out civilIans out of the city, not the freaking mayor of it, I'm not leaving until I see my kids again, unless you don't let me in, consider yourself to be post fired." said Kaityln. "Whatever, be seeing you Ma'am, pleasure talking to you." said the soldier as he leaves. "Now what?" asked Griffin. "I thought it would work, can't believe I'm kicked out of my own city." said Kaityln.

"Well.. there is another way, go back and take the left turn, I'll show you." said Peter. "Alright." said Kaityln as they drive back. Once they head left they keep driving till they reach "You're reaching Ceuvest" board.

"Here stop." said Peter. "What?" asked Kaityln. "Stop, now!" yells Peter to which Kaityln immediate stops. After a small moment, Peter remembers. "Take a right." said Peter. "What do you mean right? There's nothing but trees and rivers, it's a forest out there." said Kaityln.

"Just trust me, you may be the mayor of Ceuvest, but I know my way through trees, do you want to reach Ceuvest or not?" asked Peter. "Alright, we're heading right." said Kaityln taking right turn into the forest. After going through the trees, the muddy path makes it difficult for the people to be seated in Van. After a while, Peter suddenly jumps in front. "Take a left here." said Peter. "Sure, is there any more turns Mr. Wolf?" asked Kaityln.

"Yeah, go through there till you find the rock, den head left, there's a abandoned tunnel." said Peter. Just as Peter said, Kaityln drives through, and surprisingly they find a tunnel just like Peter said. "Wow, you do know your way through the forest." said Kaityln.

"Thanks, go through there, we'll reach the old hideout again." said Peter. After reaching the end of the tunnel, they reach the abandoned tunnel.
