When I woke up, they told me I was in the infirmary in The Night Falls pack.
Pack?
Weird, but whatever. I guess if I'm gonna be living here, the name shouldn't matter.
The room I was in was well let's just say kiddish, and not my taste at all." The walls have pink and purple butterflies on them, and there was a heart monitor next to me beeping every seven seconds. God, it was annoying.
I took another look around and found a boy in the chair next to my bed. He looked to be around the age of maybe ten or maybe twelve. This boy was tan but not too tan. His hair is light brown, and his eyes are dark brown. I tried to say something, but my throat was dry. The little boy got up and walked out the door, leaving it wide open. Well, thanks for shutting the damn door. I rolled my eyes.
I wonder who that little boy was. I’ll find out sooner or later. That is if I can figure out who it is I need to talk to.
I attempted to sit up, but as I did, someone came into the girly room and gave me some water. Damn was this someone sexy! He had on a black fitting t-shirt and faded black jeans to match. His hair was black and in a Justin Beiber flip hair do. His eyes are a beautiful soft blue like the sky, and just like the little boy, he has a light tan to his skin.
"What are you doing? You're not wanting to run away from us, are you?" His voice! It was deep and light at the same time! God, it was so sexy. “Ya just got here.”
I swallowed some water and then said, "Uh no, I'm just trying to sit up." Then put the cup on the table next to me on my right.
"Here, let me help you." Mystery man said and started to walk toward me, but me being the stubborn girl I am, I stopped him. Like I said, I don't trust anyone.
"Hey, stay right where you are, mister. One, I don't know who the hell you are. Two, I don't know what's going on, and three, you're not touching me. I am a strong girl and can handle myself." To show that I wasn't kidding, I gathered all my strength and pushed myself up into a sitting position. "Now. Tell me what's going on. Why am I in this girly room, and why was I out for a week? Was I dehydrated that bad?"
"Let me talk, ok, Angel?" I rolled my eyes. God, he may be hot, but he will not call me angel. "Or would princess be better?" he smirked.
That smirk was a sexy one, let me tell you, but he just gave me two pet names. That's not gonna work with me. "One don't even give me a pet name or I'll give you one. Those two are overrated anyway and literally used so much. And two, what's your name?"
He raised an eyebrow and folded his arms in front of his chest. Man, his muscles are nice! Come on, Kelly snap out of it! You don't even know the guy!
"I am Jason. Jason Andrew Michaels. What's yours, princess." Jason winked. Putting emphasis on Princess. Ugh, there he goes saying it again. Why are men so infuriating? I swear all the men are like this.
"The names Kelly, ass whole."
"Huh, that's a weird name. Kelly Ass Whole. Well, I'll just have to call you ass whole from now on." giving me a bigger grin.
Huh, it looks like mister sexy has a smart ass side too. I like it. "No, smart ass It's just Kelly." Jason's face showed interest in it, but it also showed respect and something else I can’t determine what though. "Tell me about what you're wanting here.” When I didn't answer the first time, he sighed “What do you want with this place?" He asked as more clearly as he sat in the chair.
I eyed him for a little while until I knew I would be safe to tell him. I told him almost everything, but there were things I was not telling anyone. Not even my family knows what happened to me unless it got out after I left, and I'm not telling anyone. It was a long time ago. At least not anytime soon. The only people who do know would be my two uncles. That's all.
We talked for a while, getting basic info, and he did make me laugh a few times. He seems like an ok guy, I guess. For now, anyway. I hope I like it here.
Jason left an hour after I told him parts of what was going on with my family and why I left. He told me to just stay here for a little while so he could go get a room ready for me. Guess that means I'm staying, and that made me happy. Hopefully, this will be my home for the rest of my life. If not that long, then hopefully a few years at least.
