Chapter 12

*Jason's POV*

It has been a week.

One f*****g week and she still hasn't woken up.

"What's wrong with her?" Max asked in a strained voice.

"She is changing, but it's not going well. I fear she may not wake up." the Doctor sighed. His face confirming he isn't sure on if she will wake.

Standing so fast, I flipped the chair and pinned the doctor to the wall. "She is your Luna. She is NOT going to die. Do anything and everything you can to help her." I said in my Alpha voice.

Dominic was trying to come out. 'f*****g let me out Jason! I need a run and kill something.'

'No Dom. We need to be here with Kelly! She needs us. You need to relax!' I ordered him.

He huffed but did as I told him.

'Dumb f*****g wolf.'

I let the doctor down and walked towards Kelly's bed. She looks like she's in so much pain. If only I could help her. I've tried over and over to take some of her pain away but it never works. Usually when a mate is hurt the other can take some of the pain away. I have never heard of not being able to take some away during the first change. But when I touched her it did the opposite, it hurt her.

"Max. We need her mother here. And that is what we are going to do." I told him. Max nodded and left the room. I looked at Mike and saw him looking at Kelly.

"Do you want to go with Max or stay with Kelly?" I asked a little softly. He was her family.

"If it is alright with you I would like to stay. I already informed my Bata you were on your way." I nodded and left.

"We are running. Bring some shorts. Might take us a day to get there." Max said. I'm letting him tell me what I need because he knows what to do when we get there. That is his old home after all.

*Isabella's POV*

Oh how I missed my lovely flower garden! When I was married to Eric he had me doing so much pack business I couldn't find the time to start again. He had me doing the Alpha duties on top of the Luna work. Thank the Goddess he is gone.

“Luna! It's an emergency. Maxwell Anderson is at our border with his Alpha Jason of the Night Falls pack. They are requesting for you to come with them.” Mike's Beta says as I start to water my lily's. Stopping as he starts his next sentence. “They said its about Kelly ma’ma. She's trying to shift but is….” running to the pack border I shift before the man could say anything else.

‘Izzy.’ Izzy is my wolf. She is grey with black paws and ears, and blue eyes. Bigger than most females.

‘I know. It's time. She needs us Isabella. I'll let Zander know to meet us and be ready to leave. I'll also let the beta know he is in charge for the time being.’ Izzy said as I pushed our legs faster until I reached Max and his Alpha. I have a lot to say to him. But as of right now my daughter needs me. As I start to get closer to the border I slow to a stop. I can see Max in human form. His Alpha in wolf form. I'll admit he is a big wolf. But nothing compared to the one I was mated to all those moons ago. Kelly is going to tower over him also. Alpha Jason turned as I did as well. We will need to be able to actually hear each other for this to work.

“Max.” I started, letting him know I wasn't too happy with him in the tone of my voice. “What brings you here? After leaving so fast for so many years.”

Hurt flashed in his eyes. Then determination, shown in its place. “Luna Isabella, it's you're daughter, Kelly. We believe she is stuck in her transition. But we do not know how to help her.”

‘Of course they don't. They have no idea what she even is.’ Izzy retorted.

“Take me to her. I know how to help her. It'll be painful for her but it'll help her.” I start to walk towards them as Alpha Jason growls not able to handle the words I said. I tilt my head, my eyebrows narrowed on him. “Listen little Alpha. I have been around a lot longer than you. That is my daughter. What is she to you?” I growled.

His wolf showed in his eyes with a deep growl. “That is my mate. My Luna.”

‘Ahhhh I understand now why he is here.’ I tell Izzy. ‘I'm happy she found an Alpha to protect her.’ Thankfully. Finally I can be at peace knowing she will be safe.

“Mom!” Zander yelled once he got closer to me. “Let's get going, Izzy filled us in.” He started running to Alpha Jason and Max. Then they all shifted. I guess it's time to go. Shifting I started running, following that Alpha.

‘I guess they don't want to know how it'll have to go down.’ Izzy huffed.

‘That's on them. I'll have to explain later I suppose.’ Getting focused on the run we made it to Jason's pack hospital the next morning.

*Kelly's POV*

"Please little Kay. You need to wake up. Max and Jason went to get your mom and Alexander." I know that voice. That's my Uncle Mike. Oh boy. Please say he's f*****g with me. "They left twenty four hours ago. The doctor has no idea what is wrong with you. You have been out for a week and two days now. You need to wake up." He pleaded.

I felt his hand touch mine. Pain shot through my left arm. God that s**t hurts! The heart monitor made a couple loud beeps then stopped when the pain left.

"That was weird. Hey Jeff come here." Uncle Mike said. I heard some feet shuffling and then the person stopped.

"Whats up Mike?" Jeff's voice said. f*****g hate that. You know, when you can hear a person but you cannot see the person.

“Touch her.”

Mother fuk…

Pain flew up my left leg and my monitor went crazy. “Keep touching her. She needs to get over the pain for her to shift. And when she does… she is going to have to be outside.” A female voice says.

“I’ll carry her.” Jason said. Well this isn’t how I pictured him carrying me for the first time.

I heard the door open and waited for the cold wet rain to fall on me, but it never came. Instead I felt warmth. Huh I guess it stopped raining.

"Ok put her on the wet grass. It will help her with the change." How? “The wet grass will help with the heat.” Oh well nevermind then. I thought as she answered my previous thought. My body is sat down gently and I felt the wetness on my shirt from the grass. She was right it definitely helped me cool down.

"Kelly, wake up. It's Alexander. You need to wake up." Zander! Oh I missed you! How the f**k do I wake up? I wish he could hear me. "You need to think of one happy moment in your life."

Max.

Max and Alexander.

They are the only two things that made me happy when I was younger at least.

Mom.

The best moment when Eric was hitting me and she stopped him for just a moment. I felt happy that she did that. That she finally saw and found out he was an abusive creep.

My eyes flutter but don't open. "Come on Kel." Zander's voice said. I tried one more time. This time thinking of Tyler and Jason.

How they have been such an incredible part of my life, and then they opened.
