"Robin do you want to spend the night? "I asked half nervous. Kenneth looked like he could laugh his head off but I glared at him slightly.
"Sure." Robin said casually, ignoring my glares, "I'll just tell the pack, okay." He said and walked out.
"Kenneth, stop it. " I hissed.
"You're making this harder for her, Honey." Abby scolded.
"Hey, I'm just happy for her." He defended. I rolled my eyes.
"You make my life impossible," I muttered.
"My pleasure. " he teased. Robin walked back in, smirking. He probably heard everything.
"Good night," Abby said as she mentally told me the bubble noise spell and pulled Kenneth along with her. Eros followed Vincent and Sara as they left.
"You have an adorable family," Robin said smirking.
"Well, we try. "I muttered and cast the spell.
"Well, you'll see how my pack bombards me with questions tomorrow." He paused, "I want to introduce you to them, though, as my mate ."
"What? B-but that means I'll have to -"
"Join my pack eventually." He said but it sounded more like a question.
"I'm not a werewolf, well, a full werewolf. I'm a vampire witch werewolf thing that I don't even understand. " I said.
He reached for me and as soon as he did my wolf side came to my senses. "You're a wolf, but a rouge, you haven't claimed the royal pack or established yourself as Queen. And not to put more pressure on you, but the sooner that's done, the sooner the werewolf gene will be restored. I don't know how difficult it will be to reclaim the royal pack, it's been a mess ever since I could remember, but-"
"If join your pack, it might help facilitate things, I know, I've read the books." I told him, "I'm sorry, I want to, but I can't just leave the only life I've ever known. "
"I understand, but you won't, it will just be your werewolf side joining the pack." He said though I could hear the sadness in his voice.
I hesitated with my next words, "What if I don't want to be Queen? I know it's was my father's crown and kingdom, but I don't think, feel, like I would be right for the role. I've been a werewolf for what? A minute? I can't be Queen."
"That's why you have me." He said and I sighed.
"Maybe, then," I said and I hugged him. I felt my body take a step back and I was back in the center, I was a cold vampire again and his proximity allowed me to smell something familiar. . . something irresistible. . .

Being so near him as I lost control. . .
I pushed him away and I backed away as my head filled with the need for blood, "Shit."I cursed as I sank to my knees with my head in my hands.
Robin seemed fine but looked alarmed by my sudden move.
"Jane?" He said as he kneeled next to me.
"One hundred and twenty-five years. " I whispered.
"Huh?"
"One hundred and twenty-five years, that's how long I've waited to love someone other than my family, but that's not how long I've resisted human blood. " I continued to whisper.
"Jane I'm fine."
"But I'm not, I almost . . . Ahg!!!" I said, disgusted of myself.
"Jane, look at me."
I did, "What?"
"It doesn't change what I what I almost did. " I said.
"Come here," he said trying to hug me, but I just moved to the side.
"Two decades after my rebirth, I lost control of myself and killed an entire family, a mom, dad, and their four kids. Vincent said it happens, it did with Abby, but I couldn't let it go. So after that, I became more strict and hard on myself."
"Jane, I'm not human, I think I would be able to fend for myself if that were to happen."
"But you shouldn't be in that position. I'm telling you this so you know what scares me."
"Jane." He said and tried again to hold me, and I let him.
"Being my mate means will you most likely be in danger all the time, especially with my new found- "
"Don't try to scare me away, Jane."He said and he lifted me up,leading us to the bed.
"Well if it does, I'll be alone again. " I murmured against his chest. He climbed up on the bed with me still in his arms and he snuggled me close.
"I love you, you know." He said against my hair.
"That's what I'm afraid of," I mumbled as I doze off.
