Broken love. the broken heart of Alicia

Alicia sat quietly at the dinner table enjoying the meal with her parents. She wondered how she was going to break the news to her parents of her getting married to her driver which she knew that his parents will be against.But Daniel was her life she was not going to give up her love because if her parents."Is there something disturbing you dear?"her mother asked with concern."Uhm no no..."Alicia answered back faking a smile. "You know you can talk to us honey we are your parents and we love you."Julie Alicia's mother said placing her hand on his husbands hand which was on the table flashing both daughter and husband a smile."Am getting married" Alicia dropped the bomb bitting the last spoon of meal that was on her plate.Both her parents looked shocked they knew Alicia liked to joke about serious things but when they saw the serious look on her face the reality hit them in the face."You are to young to get married Alicia marriage is not as easy as it seems."her mother said advicing her daughter who she could see was making a big mistake."Who are you getting married to?" his father Mr.Solomon asked with a straight face. Alicia bit her inner mouth anxiously she has been anticipating for this question from his father preparing for how to answer him but now that he had asked cat got her tongue."I asked you a question Alicia and don't make me repeat myself "mr.solomon asked with a deep intimidating voice trying hard to control his anger. "Will you calm down Timothy for Gods sake just keep quite and listen ." Mrs.Julied asked his husband angrily."It's Daniel."Alicia broke the tension she could see rising between her parents."What.." Mrs. Julie said "You are not getting married to that lowly stupid driver."Timothy said getting up to exit the dinning room."Dad mind your language he is the man I love and am going to get married to him with or without your consent " Alicia fired back to his father who was astonished by her words not once did Alicia talk back to him but just because of a driver she claimed she loved she talked back to his father."Did you just talked back to me?"Timothy asked Alicia who was looking directly into his eyes."I can see that he has also taught you how to talk back to me your father but mark my words Alicia if you are going to get married to him I don't want to see your face in any of my premises." Timothy said walking away to his study leaving Alicia and Julie watching his retreating figure prosessing what he has just said."What are you trying to prove to us Alicia that you are old enough and you can do what you want or what Alicia?" Mrs Julie asked her in an angry tone she did know expect Alicia to talk back to his father which has accelerated the anger in her."Mom please understand I love him with all my heart he has shown me how to love and I have ended up falling ft him than I expected." Alicia answered her mother pleading with her to accept who he has chosen to spend her life with even though the big difference in their social status. He did not come from a rich family like but for the sake of her love for him he was was willing to leave everything behind to start a new life with him."I have always supported you in everything Alicia but your marriage to your driver you do not have my support." "Mom tell me if you were in my shoes would you not sacrifice your comfort to get your happiness ." Alicia asked her mother who was heading to her room stratling her. "No because that happiness will shortly live and there will be sadness and there will be no happiness or comfort."Mrs. Julie said to her and walked away.
