Amber pov
The anticipation building up inside me, I couldn't help but pace back and forth in the entryway of the villa while we waited for Sky, Ella, and her son to join us.
"Calm down, baby," Erik whispered as he pulled me into his arms.
As tears streamed down my face, I held onto him tightly, finding solace in his presence.
"It's unfair; Piper will have such a tough life if she can't touch anyone." I cried as Erik held onto me tight.
"Shhhh, we just need to help her control her powers," Erik soothed me in a calming voice.
"We will help our pup," Ivy and Sora agreed as they chatted away in my head.
As I heard the car approaching, I instinctively held onto Erik even tighter, seeking reassurance. "I love you, Amber," he whispered as we waited to welcome everyone inside.
