Well, if he puts it that way. We have no other choice but to follow him. Gamma Victor walks a little way in front of us with no care in the world, making small talk here and there. He doesn’t look at all worried about either me or Seth attacking him or trying to escape. The guy is shorter than me. Yet, I think if Seth and I attack him at the same time, he’s still going to win. The man is a warlord of a feared force. He knows a thing or two about how to easily kill two punks like us without even breaking a sweat.
“Don’t bother trying to mind-link your Alpha,” he informs. “No use.”
We believe him but try anyway. Out of spite. He was telling the truth. Although I think Seth senses a little connection. His mind-link might get through. There’s hope.
