DEMIEN'S POV: I stood there, panting, my chest heaving as the adrenaline slowly faded. The room around me, once filled with the sounds of chaos, was eerily quiet now. The silence pressed against my ears, unnatural after the violence. The scent of blood was thick in the air. I wiped the crimson stains from my hands. My knuckles throbbed, bruised and swollen from the fight. Every muscle in my body screamed in exhaustion, but I couldn't rest. Not yet. The rogues, those vile, filthy men who had followed their leader so blindly, stood frozen, their eyes darting between me and the open door.
