Can't stop, won't stop

Chapter-4

I suffle through the files in my office.I pull my unruly hair in a bun and groan as another strand of my hair falls on my face.

I untie my bun and wrap my hair till my bum around my left palm and take the scissors in anger. I have no mercy for my hair which I growed for twelve years of my life.I would rather have short hair.

I toss the dustin bin infront of my hair.I will cut this devils pawn now and forever!

I put the scissors in position.I hear the door opening but I start usinng the scissors."NO!",a person yells almost dramatically almost pushing me on the ground with my scissors on my hand.I grab my desk to handle the impact and look up to see a shocked Mr.Reynolds as he takes away my scissors.

"What were you doing,South!",he shouts angrily.I frown.How did he know my name?And why is he angry?

"Cutting my har, sir? ",I said but it came out as a question.

"I can see that!But why were you cutting your hair?",he shouts.

I flinch at his tone."Sir,it is my hair.And how did you know my name?And why are you angry?",I ask confused.

His eyes seems to go wide like I caught him off guard."I...know your name simce you are my enployee,Ms.Morerrti.My building is not your salon where you cam cut hair plus it is my skyscrapper.I can go where I want.",he said coldly.I nod slightly embarrased by the way he was talking to me.

I look at my feet and he sighs before leaving my office as quickly as he entred.I groan as I see he left with my scissors!

My phone rings.I pick it seeimg my mom's caller id."Hi,mom.",I said.

"Hello,South.How are you?by the way I send you two photos of a guy.He is well off, doctor and his family is nice plus he is single.",Mom said before I can ask her about her whereabouts.

I roll my eyes as I sit on my chair twirling the fat fountain pen between my fingers."Mom,I am not dating anyone you chose.Nor I am ready for marriage,date or anything.",I said leaning on my chair.

"Just try!You will soon turn thirty.What do you want to stay?Virgin Mary?",mom said sarcastically.

"Mom!When did you care so much for my love life?You always hated the idea of me dating someone or going out with any boy except Adrian.",I said with a chuckle at how overprotective my mom is.

I hear my mom sigh."Ever since I saw the scary dream of you living in a old age home in your seventies with cats around you.",mom said and I burst into laughter imagining her horrified look.

"What is wrong with that?",I ask between my laughing. "Seriously?You ask me that?You know what forget it.I just remembered your undying love for cats.",mom said and I laugh clucthing my stomach imaging myself with cats and wrinkles on my face.

"Fine!Laugh!",mom said cutting the call.I wipe my happy tears laughing and smile.My mom lives with me most of her time but sometimes visits my grandma.

I look at the watch to see it is alreay time to leave.I wrap up my things and take a taxi to my apartment.

The first thing I remember infront of my apartment is that I forgot groccery.I shurg.Guess chinesse it is.I open the door of my apartment.

"Home,sweet home.",I mumble trying to find the remote on the sofa.

Why walk when I can crawl.I crawl to my room and strip from my dress leaving me in my panties and bra.I don't mind being naked in my own house.I got naked and crawl to my bathroom.My chest bouncing. I smile automaticlly.I love doing whatever I want in my room after closing my windows and doors obiviously.

I open the shower.My mind drifts to Mr.Reynolss.He is the most handsome guy I have ever seen probably in my life.It has been a whole day since I first met him yet I can't get him out of my head.

And today his outburst in my office.He isn't really supposed to be in my office since Mr.Grey is the head of our department and Mr.Reynolds tursts him enough to not intefere or check our works for one year!

I sigh.Why just can't he be Adrian?Where is he?I have tried finding him.My mom knows where he is since his mom and my mom are mostly best friends. But she never tells me more nor do I ask her.If I ask her she will think I liked him or like that.

His brother and mom talks with my mom on phone.Aiden is like my mom's other son. Yet they never visit in my house or nor do they talk with me about Adrian.

I am stupid to think Mr.Reynolds is Adrian.Many people has six fingers. I lean on the wall as cold water falls on my face.

That day was the day I made the biggest mistake in my life. I miss Adrian. I miss him so much still after so many years.

Guess it will be a weird experience working with another 'six fingers'.
