Heather's POV I was in awe at how Steven stood up to my parents the way he did. However, I couldn't bare to hear another word from my mother when she exclaimed that I was with Steven for his money. Tossing my napkin at her face, I rushed out of the room. I ran outside of the church and sat on the wooden bench on the side of the building, surrounded by flowers drinking in the rain.
