Forever Betrayed

Chapter 3

April POV

The sharp pain in my chest made me fall knees. Never had I felt a pain this intense. I did not understand what was happening to me. I wanted to scream and cry but I kept it to a dull growl.

Lily whimpered in pain as she said, "that pain you feel is from being rejected". After a few minutes, the pain started to subside in my chest. When suddenly, a pain that was more powerful than the first shot through me. The scream I let out was horrific. A scream that I did not know I could make. Lily tried her best to calm me down. The searing pain felt like a hot poker that has been shoved in my chest. Lily was pissed, she knew exactly what it was, but she did not want to tell me. I begged Lily to explain it to me but could not beg enough due to the pain.

Lily fought to take control. I was hurting so bad that I was on the verge of unconsciousness. I was too weak to keep control, Lily began to take over. She pulled us up off the floor as I retreated to the back of my mind and marched towards Declan's room. She burst through the door, not even bothering to knock. There she found the most disgusting sight. Declan was balls deep in the slut, Ashley. She was on all fours with him pounding away from behind. I wanted to throw up, luckily Lily was in control. “This is too good.” Lily told me through our link.

Declan looks up surprised to see me. It takes him a while to realize that my wolf took over. Ashley just looked up, did not even bother to cover herself, and gave a devious grin. Lily is ready to lose it. Declan tried to get up, but Ashley tightened her legs around his ankles. Before Declan could react, Lily gave the exact same pain back to Declan. "I, Lily, wolf of April Skie Connor, accept the rejection of Declan James Adams as his mate and future Luna.” Lily then turned around and left the room. She heard Declan scream in agony as Ashley ran out of the door, still naked.

Lily continued to walk until we made it to my room. She packed as much of my stuff as quickly as possible. Once she had everything that she knew I could not live without, she then snuck out of my house, not wanting to let my parents hear me. Not that it would have influence. They never wanted children. They made a mistake after a long night of drinking. They made sure to tell me every chance they got. I got an A on a test, and it was not good enough. If I did not clean something to their liking I was told. She quickly loaded up my car and got in the driver seat. Leaving everything that I once knew behind, she set out to make a better life for myself and my future.

I drove for hours until I needed to take a break. Lily had already given me control back. I had pulled over in Salam, Massachusetts. I booked a hotel room and settled in. I had to use cash for everything because I did not want Declan or any of the Dark Forest pack to find me. I had cash from the job at the diner. I had been saving it for when I found my mate to start out lives with. Well, we see how that went. Goddess why do hate me so? As I thought about how my life had gone so badly, I slowly drifted into a restless sleep. The next morning, I woke up with a strange feeling. I felt someone near, and it scared me. Have I been found?

Justin POV

“I can’t believe that Meagan cheated on me?” I thought to myself. She left me for a kid who just turned eighteen. Meagan had lost her mate at an early age due to a rouge attack. I was going to take her as my chosen mate. I am now twenty-five and I still have not found my mate and have doubts I ever will.

Me and my Bata just got to the hotel. I needed a break from seeing her with him. The clerk gave me a key to room 6. We headed there to drop off our bags and walked back out to head to get dinner when I got a whiff of the most wonderful smell. Chocolate and strawberry mixed with a hint of vanilla.

I searched around trying to find the owner of the scent. That I begin to get frustrated since no one is around. My Bata and I stopped right outside the door and the smell became stronger again. I begin to look around again. I started to walk towards room 7 when the smell became overwhelming. I told my Bata to knock on the door and see who would answer.

When the door creaked open, I saw the most beautiful women I ever. She stood there looking at me with a blank stare on her face.
