Conversation with Ancients

Lada's POV

Lada watched as Red and Lia were reunited. I could see Joe heading to his group of wolves. Tvso had done more then just save Lia as I asked he had killed the black dragon and bonded Lia to another soul besides the one she was currently with. One who Remembers had met with Lia and activated her wolf. So much had transpired since the black dragon had kidnapped Lia. Red dealt well with her being gone, making sure the people of the town were taken care of and doing chores Lia normally did. Though you could feel the need to help Lia pulling at his heart. I could feel the pull, Leto was calling me. I needed to keep her abreast of all that I knew.

I felt my body become spirit. My soul rose up, the was a multiude of light in several colors all around. "What have you found out?" Leto asked. Her voice all around me.

"Mistress, Lia is very powerful. Enough that she could change the contour of the Dracoian cave into a floral oasis." I started, I could feel her presence all around. "I asked Tvso to get her, he took her home to be healed by his woman. He also gave her a token of his power and bonded her to another dragon/wolf." I stopped.

The lights of many colors continued to flash all around, "Mariana has seen her?" Leto asked.

"Yes, and she fully activited Lia's wolf. She also told her that she would be her replacement. Though no mention of how the power transfer would happen or why."

Again I let the lights and warmth move around me. Knowing in time she would respond. "What a mess I have gotten the family in." I heard Leto ssay with sadness.

"If I may Mistress, you needed to save your bloodline. There are other lines from here that will carry your magic forward. One memeber of a family to take over another memebers job is not completely horrible. We must have one active member of magic working. It evens the balance in the great scale. Mariana has been a blessing to many. Lia will be just as powerful perhaps more so with that southern blood. Tvso bonding her to another may actually help in later years. she will need someone just as long lived to keep her safe."

I could feel her thinking, while I waiting in this in between space she had made for conversations. "I agree, I am surprised by Tvso's actions and plan to confer with him. Ancient dragons do not give token unless they see something worth the greater good." There was a sigh in the air.

"And to allow her to met his woman told me he held her in great esteem." I added.

"Yes Isabel is a very special woman, knowing how ancient she is and how long she has loved that old dragon even surprises me. Yes I must talk to him and see what he has to say." There warmth and love all around me. "Lada my helper I thank you much for all you do." I felt her release me back into the world below. One day I would able to stay with her but for now I needed to keep eyes on her bloodline and help as needed. I was her creation so I would always follow her with loyalty and love always.

I did have one curioisness that was how did the Southern Wolves get started. who was their matron. No one knew, or would day. Leto had asked me to find it. Though I had no clues to lead me in the direction. I needed to know the power that laid in their DNA. Being able to paur with a dragon meant they were ancient in their line. We just need to know. The war was close and the need to have all.aspects of it availble was high.

My connection to Leto sometimes allowed me to hear and/or see what she did during certain events. This was one of those times. Shortly after I had left my conversation with her, I realized she went directly to Tvso.

Not only where they together so was Isabel. I was curious to see how this played out. Also curious to see how long I would be able to hear.

"Greetings Leto," Tvso bowed a it.

"Greetings Elder dragons," Leto bowed as well. "I have asked for this visit to inquire as to why you bonded Lia and gave her a token?" Leto settled in a chair not far off.

Both Isabel and Tvso sat. Isabel always the woman and Tvso changed to a white haired man of middle age, his golden eyes much the same as in Dragon form.

"I did that for three reasons, the first being she will need protection even after she ages past her current soulmate. Of which we both know has not decided to agree yet if there will be more lives after this. The second, I have a feeling it will be about time to teach the old ways. Isabel seen something in this young one that called to her mothering instinct. She would not have given her token if it was not so." He sat back in his chair reaching out to grab Isabel's hand he smiled with warm eyes.

"I see." Leto was thinking of what I was not sure, "My lord, are you thinking that with this teaching the world may perhaps go back the way of old ways?"

"It is my hope, that it goes back in a similar fashion though better having learned there is no more evil to sway its structure." He looked back at me a smile still on his face.

"Ah, you think she is capable of doing that and ridding the world of what has in infected our way of life?" Leto looked rather hopeful.

"Yes, My Lady. While I was healing her" Isabel paused a moment to look at Tvso. "I noticed something remarkable in her DNA. The southern wolf influence has dragon markers. I know of only one dragon an elder that could change DNA. This elder went missing several millennia ago. Story has it he loved a wolf, so much so he spent years trying to become one. Human to dragon and dragon to human had always been easy. But this wolf he loved desperately. Everytime she passed, he hunted the world for her to reappear. He found her, deep in the heart of South America. He told the other elders where he was. Though when they searched they never found him. Only the wolf changers we call Southern Wolves as they have not direct relation to you until Lia. The name of this Elder Dragon is Zyphir. The love of his heart was a woman named Salise. They are still alive, Tvso knows if he would have passed as they were from the same hatch." Isabel stopped to glance at Tvso. I seen him nod his head to her as if to continue. "Zyphir and Salise are still alive, deep in the depths of the land there. We must cleanse the world of the evil influence that has infected our lands. Gia needs freedom from their power. Lia is just the one to do it. Mariana needs to continue her path that was chosen when you touched her. Once things have been dealt with Lia can take over. But the main goal is this one. Rid the world of the evil infection. Start small and let her power build." Isabel sat back in her chair. Looking to Tvso, as if to say I have no more.

Tvso looked at Leto, "I know you worry about Mariana but I know she will be fine. Lia needs more time to get into her powers before the actual battle begins. I have made a layer of protection over them for now while she can get in touch with it. Lada will need to help her practice as will that young dragon Joe." Tvso looked to where I was peering like he knew I was watching. It also told me that Joe was watching as well. How dragon power did this always surprised me.

"I understand, I knew when I activated Mariana's powers that there would be consequences for the actions to both us and her." There was a sadness in that she was referring to not being able to interfere in events related to Mariana and her family. I could but help but only because I was different to Leto a creation with free will.

"We shall get started with her training today and will also inform Mariana of the events to this conversation." Tvso announced. Ending my connection with force. I had to shake my head to readjust to where I was standing in the middle of this desert forest.
