One Week Later It was now a week after the earthquake and Jim, Bob, and the boys had just finally been able to shower at the hotel. Water was now being supplied and they paid for a room with a credit card number, to be charged later when things were working. They washed their clothes and hung around the room in their underwear while waiting for the clothes to dry. What a week it had been. They were out of their minds with worry about their families, finding comfort only in hearing from law enforcement officials that people in San Francisco were actually all safe and doing very well under the circumstances.
