Nicole's POV
**Venus Club**
Following Audrey, I easily slipped into the Venus Club, where the pounding music assaulted my ears without warning.
I wove through the crowd behind Audrey, but soon lost her in the throng.
Twisting my body through the mass of people, I tried to spot Audrey. Unable to find her on the dance floor, I decided to head to the bar.
Squinting towards the bar, I finally saw Audrey, engaged in a discussion with the bartender.
Even from where I stood, it was clear she looked drunk. I glanced at my watch; time was running out. We needed to get the footage and leave quickly.
I turned around, only to find myself face-to-face with a handsome man in an extravagant burgundy tailcoat, unbuttoned to reveal his bare abs. The disco lights played off the fabric beautifully.
