I opened my messaging app to find 99+ messages from Helena. She must have seen the news.
Helena, my best friend, is an intern reporter for an entertainment magazine. She's been abroad for the past two months tracking a star's movements. She's also a werewolf. Her father passed away when she was nine, and her mother remarried and abandoned her when she was twelve. Helena has been living with us on the edge of The Cold Moon Pack ever since.
I called her immediately, and she picked up quickly. "Helena, are you alright?"
