When my alarm went off at 6 a.m., I lazily reached out to turn it off and buried my head back under the covers. I always set two alarms, planning to get up after the second one. But when I woke up again, my alarm still hadn’t gone off.
I grabbed the clock and realized it was already 9 a.m. “Oh no… I’m late again…”
I bolted upright and scrambled out of bed, only to trip and fall, dragging the bedspread with me. “Ouch!” I winced as I got up, rubbing my back where it had hit the cold, hard floor.
