I took a deep breath and looked Michael directly in the eyes.
“I, Nicole Victor of the Solar Eclipse Pack, reject you, Michael Parker, Alpha of the Shadow Crown Pack.”
I could feel my heart shatter into pieces as Daisy howled in agony within me. The pain was unbearable, a sharp, relentless ache that echoed through every part of my being.
