*Blake's POV*

At the party there was no scent. Nothing. I started to fear the worst. what if I didn't have a mate. I need to chill out. I'm done with this party . I'm tired. I make my way down the corridor and lock myself in my room. I was definitely not up for games tonight. it did not go as I planned and I still didn't find my mate. I was lost in thought for a moment before my brother Cam bursts into my room, annoyingly.

"Don't you know what a closed door means? numnuts!" I growled

"oh but what about your MaTe??" he sneers at me

"out or I'll beat you!" I glared at him

"Oh My lOvElY mAtE mMmH" he mocks me a he pretends to take out with himself

"I can't believe we are brothers..." I shake my head "get out. I'm tired and I got that thing with Father tomorrow."

"fine. can I barrow like 50 bucks? I wanna get some food."

"We just had dinner? oh my God.. here bro. now leave!" I barked at him

"YES! okay thanks bro see ya!" Cam bounces out of my room slamming my door

Goddess please give me the strength. I got ready for bed. I need sleep my head is killing me.

7 a.m.

I couldn't sleep. All I could think about was my mate. My wolf is driving me nuts. I can't take it anymore. I have to find her. I get dressed, throwing on the first thing I see and bolting out of my room, I get smacked in the face by such a sweet scent. I take a big whiff, my wolf howling mate in my head over and over. The smell of sugar and flowers filled the hallway.

Goddess. she smells wonderful. I can't wait to find her.

I follow the smell not even bothering to wake my brothers. They can wait, this is my mate we're talking about, I make my way to the kitchen. I'm so nervous. who could it be? I burst in expecting to see her and disappointingly it was my father.

"Ah! Blake, I was expecting you." he says

before I could turn around I caught the scent again. "sorry father we'll talk later." Just like that I was outside walking the old trail me and my brothers made when we were younger. I came up to the old pond, her scent growing stronger, I peeked around the old oak and there she was.

weird. she seems so familiar. who exa- I tripped over the roots sticking out of the ground before I could think, I looked up and saw her. oh my-

*Sam's POV*

I just wanted some time on my own just to think and relax. So I went to the old pond. it's beautiful in the spring. I was sketching until I caught a scent that was heavenly like pineapples and milk.

No... there's no way I get a third chance.. I have to see what it is. I can't wait-

I heard a crunch behind the old oak, I turn to see what it is when- oh no....

I see Blake looking worried as he stares at me with those dark eyes. My wolf howls mate in my head. I push her thoughts out of mine. It can't be. The Alphas son. I was so scared I shifted, not caring about my clothes, and ran as fast as I could. It's forbidden. We can't be together, it would never work. I have to hide.

Ugh! it's no use I'll never be able to hide from him. I'm sure he's hot on my tail, I can feel it. MATE! MATE! my wolf cry's

I make my way to the pack House shifting as fast as I could to get to my room. I can't let him get to me. Not now. I'm almost free. Plus his father would never allow it. An Alpha with an abandoned omega. it's not possible.
