I was slumped roughly against the hard ground but my body barely reacted to the coarse contact with it having been through already much pain in the recent hours. I felt an involuntary quiver as my garments hugged my skin due to the cold liquid being poured on me. I waved my hand weakly, signaling for drinking water. My body was swiftly placed in an awkward sitting position and seconds later I was consuming water, the thing that had almost caused me my sanity. My body went into a brief state of shock from the sudden hydration sending me through a spiral of choking coughs. The action did not deter my goal as I continued forcing the life giving liquid down my throat.
