“How did it happen?” Rahan asked as he couldn't believe what he heard.
Some of his business deals were cancelled and lost some money too. It's a rare incident that happened in a decade. He came to the office after he got to know about the bad news. Though he was not willing to come there and inquire about the lost because of his pregnant wife. Nowadays he was always around her like she would have labor pain anytime. At some point she pushed him outside the home, giving him assurances that she was perfectly fine. When he came there his friend, Sathvik, helplessly looked at him as it's not his fault for the huge loss.
“It just happened. I still can't believe our company lost such big deals.” Sathvik said. He was carefully swallowing down each word, not leaving a spark of doubt in Rahan.
