The office remained in silence, everyone stewing in the betrayal they felt. Ella had silent tears while holding onto Jace tightly. Jace's face switched between emotions, sadness, confusion, anger, and the one that lasted the longest.. betrayal.
The Cameron's sat silently, but were confused, I'm sure they figured out by now, this was someone very close to everyone in the room.
Kane just radiated pure, unadulterated anger. It's like I could feel it coming out of his pours, I tried to calm him down by rubbing circles around his lower back, hoping the skin to skin contact would help, but no, he held onto his anger.
