{Kanes POV}

3 days, it's been 3 days since we found out about Ray being the traitor, 3 days since we last heard from William and 3 days of complete and utter misery.

After finding out about Ray, I couldn't say anything. What was there to say that everyone in the room didn't already know?

I knew Jace would end up wanting to resign, he always worshiped the ground his father walked 4on, and I knew his guilt of being related to a traitor would make him want to leave, leave everything we worked and trained for.

I wouldn't let that happen. He stayed secluded in his room most of the time, only left for training or his patrol duties.
